Thanks! I really wanted to do it last year but I joined GR so late that I thought it was pretty pointless. :)
I set mine at 52 but there have been a lot of weeks where I have read 2. We will see :) maybe I will be closer to 60 or seventy. lol
You are 4 books ahead... If you keep reading like this at the end of the year you will read 300 books!

Amy (Foxy) wrote: "Thanks. Just proves I have no life. ;)."Living your HEA with 1000 books is one helluva of a life :d
Possibly. :) Aren't most people gung-ho when they set a goal....so, we'll see if I can keep this up or if real life will get in the way.

Lmao girl, go ahead and up this bitch. You got it in spades Foxy. I'm 7% behind, time for some short ones ;P

7% behind that's not bad. Just means you have a life! I obviously don't. Hee Hee
Wait till December and see how it goes, lol I like to set myself up for success and positive reinforcement ;)
Thanks, Tamara! Sometimes I feel nutty getting to this point because most of the time I have my nose stuck in a book. My teens had a funny conversation in the car the other day. I think they forgot I was in there with them.
Youngest teen: "if mom had an Instagram account I wonder what kind of pictures she would post."
Middle teen: "she would post pictures of her reading her iPad. Then write ..reading another book."
All three of my teens started laughing. But it's true. It sums up my life (nose in a book constantly).
THREE teens - I am in AWE!!! I have 1 (a 14 yo daughter) and that is enough! I am sure she thinks I read too much and ignore her a little... but she likes to read some of the books I do too so that is one of the best things about finding all these awesome books.
My youngest turned 14 on Thursday! So, I have a 14 year old girl, 15 year old boy and 16 year old girl. YIKES It was crazy when they were little. My 16 year old will turn 17 this summer (in 2 months). I've read some of their books. I had my oldest read Divergent, Insurgent and Flat-Out Love because I loved them. She did too. Fun to share a hobby with your kids
Amy (Foxy) wrote: "Thanks! :) I'm too scared to set my goal any higher because 'what if' I don't achieve it."Mmm. They call it a challenge for a reason. =)
I know and then I become obsessed with it and can't function. :) I think that is why I've almost completed it. I'm scared to fail.
Christy wrote: "I'm thinking about bumping mine up too... I'm pretty ahead of my goal right now lol!"STOP. It was all fun and games until CB said that!
Geesh, CB is trying to kill me!!
XOXO
