OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG! I can't do this *SOB SOB*

This book ripped me to pieces. OH MY GOD. I am sobbing so hard my eyes are going to fall out. I can't believe this. I. Can't. *SOB SOB SOB SOB*

I'm done. I'm at a loss for words and I can never finish this review. *walks away and falls to the floor convulsing*

First of all, let me say that I was so scared of reading this because of all the reviews...but I read it anyway so...

Part One - I can handle. But when I got to Part Two, I just can't. I knew something was gonna happen because my breathing's erratic and my heart's racing (I'm not exaggerating.) It amazed me what this book did to me.

Hmm... I don't think I can type anything coherent anymore so let me just show you how I felt:

I’m just going to start off by saying, no one should have to lose so much and go through so much heartache at such a young age. The story was sweet, sad and emotional. I smiled, I laughed, I cried, I was all over the place.

This is the story of Chase and Nikki
Everyone thought I was the troublemaker, the bad boy, the punk. I wasn’t. I was just broken.

“You’ve been the greatest gift in my life- the girl I never knew I always wanted.”

Chase’s 17th birthday is going great. He is a star

I just finished this and honestly don't know what to say. I am an emotional wreck and have spontaneous tears since finishing! So I probably shouldn't write a review right now...oh and I have also run out of tissues!!!

I am not doing any spoilers...but this is how I felt reading it.

Chasing Nikki is one of the most emotional heart wrenching books I have read recently. I cannot recommend it enough, it is beautifully written!

This story was written in Chase's POV. I don't often read a book that is

This is a story of a broken teen age boy who asks a girl (Nikki) to take a chance with him.

The book is about their journey together.

I do not even know where to begin with this book! All I can say is that I was glad that I was in the privacy of my own home when I finished the book and not a doctor's office or something. It was an amazing read but was so heart wrenching. You will go through many emotions while reading about Chase's life. I loved reading a book from a male POV and Chase did not disappoint. You also really fall in love with Nikki through Chase's eyes and can feel the love that the two of them share. Chase is a ...more

I'm speechless. This book didn't just break my heart, it ripped it out of my chest and pulverized it.
Chace was the best teenage character I have ever read. He was damaged by tragedy in his life, but it was so realistic I had to keep reminding myself that I was reading a fictional story, but nothing could stop my tears.
Nikki was the type of girl that I would be so proud to call my own.
The story of Chace trying to make Nikki give him a chance, and then reading about them falling in love was

When the world becomes a bleak bleak place and nothing can be done to save you for going to the deep end, not even the support of your parents, friends and family.....
This book has some advice from you.
Get a girlfriend/boyfriend.
It certainly worked for Chase.
Ok, maybe I'm being shallow here, but apparently Chase was a alcoholic and quasi-drug addict and was ruining every loved one's life. The BOOM! he sees this major hot girl and then suddenly he's a good boy? I don't think so. And I'm not even

CHASING NIKKI has to be one of the sweetest books I have read this year so far. I know I know the year just started, but it was so sweet. Maybe because I have been reading so many angsty books lately that this one was a breath of something different, that I took to it. No, thats not it, I enjoyed this book on a different level. Since the very beginning I was saddened at the life Chase had. For only being 17, he had already experienced to much

This book hit me hard it makes you face the harsh realities of life in regards to lost, drug abuse, healing and love. The author approached this book with no fear that's for sure. In Chasing Nikki Chase an all star athelete lands in some deep trouble with his mother, so she decides it would be best
I woke up this morning with one book on my mind and it was Chasing
Nikki! I wanted to read it for ages and I just had to do it first thing

If I read any review of it, I honestly forgot it, so it was like diving into unknown for me. And you know what ?!?! I am pissed as hell! I love

Ah I'm so conflicted! It was tough trying to decide on how I should rate this one...

I really liked that it was told in Chases' POV all throughout. And I never felt like I missed out on Nikki's perspective; it was overall very well written, easy to follow and read. I also liked the underlying message of the story: survival, moving on, perseverance and hope. And as much as I want to absolutely rave about Chasing Nikki and proudly declare my love for this story, I just can't.

In the beginning, this was a really feel good love story. Had me sighing with bated breath and rolling on the bed, clutching my pillow while I read how Chase's life had changed. Nikki was an interesting character, I thought she was charming and I especially liked how she didn't want to date jocks or football players. At first, I thought maybe she just wanted to be different, but later on I realized there was something else deeper that brought all this down on her. Chase also had issues,

Matthew Atkinson as Chase Walker & Selena Gomez as Nikki Wagner

Chase Walker does pretty much all the teenage "rebellious" or coping stuff. Drugs, sex and worse? Getting arrested. When things got a turn for the worst, his mom packed them up to move to his grandfather's old ranch. Since he never liked spending time there so he figured this was his personal hell, he was bent to just deal with it the same way he dealt with things back to where he came from. He never saw this an opportunity
I am a blabbering mess!! I am hurting and am in deep pain, and I cannot seem to stop crying. In fact I am bawling my eyes out while I'm trying to write this review. I swear to you I haven't stopped crying since reading the last 100 pages of this book. I am devastated to the point of exhaustion. I am completely shocked and utterly stunned. I am completely heartbroken and I cannot understand why it's affected me this way. I mean we have all lost people that we have loved but to hear it told from a ...more

I don't normally post reviews right after finishing a book, but I feel really passionately about these characters. Let me start by saying I fell in LOVE with this book right from the start. Everyone was likable and I instantly felt like these were people I could actually meet in real life (even if they were a bit shallow) instead of outlandish happenings you sometimes find in romance novels like this.

That being said... The ending was TERRIBLE! I am perfectly fine with

Okay, I am going to just straight up say it. I didn't think I was going to be able to finish this book. I was hooked from page one...totally hooked...drawn in...drowning! I got about 90% in and then it happened. Okay, I can live with that. My breath may have hitched just a little. But no tears because we can recover from that, right? Then FREAKING-A...BOOM! I so did not see that coming. My heart broke. The tears flowed. And what did I do? I went back, way back to my high school days and thought

I really enjoyed this story up until the end. The ending ruined it for me. I hated it in fact... it was shocking, unexpected and made me cry; but for me it did not end happy and therefore, I am so mad at, and fiercly hate the ending. Sorry, to the author for marking it with "I didn't like it" for rating review. She did write it well, just the ending what crap. Grrr... So MAD!!!! at how it ended.

It's almost two in the morning and I AM BAWLING MY EYES OUT. Going into this book, I knew it was going to play with my tear ducts because of the summary and reviews, but I didn't expect to love the characters and the story and the everything SO DAMN MUCH.

Ohmygoodness. I can't even find words. I thought it was going to be just another contemporary story with a sad twist, but I was SO SO SO wrong, because I ended up falling HEAD. OVER. HEELS. The characters were so fun and fleshed out, and the

Okay so this is me by the end of reading this tragically beautiful book:

Yessss! This book brought too much tears to me and squeezed my heart by it's second half.. The first part was romantically beautiful and easy and fun, and was well balanced by how tragic, yet beautiful the second part is.. Believe me, I didn't think this one would bring tears to my eyes..

You see, the author made the first part so bright and fun that it sends butterflies to your stomach. There's this beautiful connection
OMG OMG this book was such a gorgeous love story and so damm emotional and heartbreaking i had a box of tissues next to me while reading the last few chapters..

Chase used to be a good guy and then his father passed away and he turned to drugs and alcohol and then he gets caught by the police and his mum tells him they are moving to his grandparents house.. So they move and he starts a new school and on the first day he meets Nikki who basically wants nothing to do with him, as she has had a very

I'd tried to like it. I really did. The reviews! This thing was so hyped; I couldn't wait to tear in to it.

There were just too many things wrong with it. I just couldn't get emotionally invested in the characters. Everyone felt so bland to me, with the exception of Chase who had his witty moments. I had to push, really push, to get to the end because I was curious as to why everyone said, "break out the tissues!" I feel like if it had been written better it would have had the desired

OMG who ever recommended this book to me is going to get hit over the head with a frying pan, they said it was a happy love story with No (get this) sad parts..(Yeah right)!! Damn this book tugged on my emotional strings :(
And the worst thing about reading an ebook is that you can't throw it like a book!! (Doesn't bounce back)!!
But getting over the sad bits in this book, I was hooked from page one, loved it even if my eyes are red..5/5 stars definitely from me..And if book 2 is sad man oh man

Chasing Nikki was an incredible book.I looooooved Chase and how strong he was despite all the tragedies life brought on him.He managed to recoved throught all the pain and make himself the person Nikki new he could be.Not only did he survived but he also managed to thrive in the end.
It's so hard to write this review, because I can't stop crying.LIfe is so unfair for some people and Chase certainly one of them.I understand the message of the book "Life is short and unpredictable so live it

I just finished crying my eyes out!!!!
This book, damn, I loved it from the beginning!
Chase, gosh he was so freaking funny.
I laughed so much at all the cute and silly things he said.
I loved Nikki too!!!! What's not to love about her?!!
Then that crappy thing had to happen!!! My god I was at that point going to turn around and hate this book instead!!!
My heart was breaking in pieces for Chase!
But that letter from Nikki, oh man, that started the waterworks for me again!!
I'm bawling like a baby.

I can't even describe...
how absolutely beautiful
Chasing Nikki is.

Goodness, it's so bittersweet.

I recommend Chasing Nikki to anyone and everyone.
It takes a lot to make me cry and I shed a few
tears while reading this. So grab some tissues.
Especially while reading the letter. That letter
was the most beautiful thing I've ever read.
To me, it embodies First Love.

This one hit really close to home. By the end of the book, I was literally crying my eyes out. I'm talking tissues littered everywhere, I could barely see the words on the page, my kids were wondering what'd happened to momma, my husband came home and thought I'd lost my mind... I lost my dad 4yrs ago and the last time we'd spoken, we'd had a horrible argument that ended in a decision to never speak to one another again. We were always very close but life has a way of changing relationships ...more
