Oh okay, I'll dm the authors, maybe they'll add it.
It won't let me add the book I wanted to add either. It says "not published this year", but it was published this year. Something is wrong.

Hey! Hope you're well. A reader of mine flagged that they had voted for my book (Before and After) and that it was at the top of the list but they then reported that the book had gone missing from the list. Any idea why it might have been taken off?

So possibly, it runs the risk of them adding it back on, only for it to be removed again. I'm fine if it's a genre / cover / publisher issue, I'd just like to know so I can let readers know. I'll ask if they can add it and see if it disappears again.

Provide a link to books first published this year that can't be added and I will fix them for you.

It is back on the list now, but with only one vote.

It's a mystery, it seems for some reason a GR employee removed the votes it had. My book is still on other lists, so it seems this was the only one it was purged from. Bit weird!

Please let your fans know they can vote for it now.

I'd like to vote for Vision or Mirage: Saudi Arabia at the Crossroadsby David Rundell published Sept 2020. Can you remove "not published in this year"? Why not allow votes for all books published in 2020, as stated by Goodreads in book description??

The list's description at the top of the page says that it is for all "books published during 2020." The book you mention has a pub date of September 2020, so you can go ahead and add it.

Unfortunately, there is no box that permits me to vote for it. Instead, there is a label that says “not published during this year”. As you point out, the book was published in 2020. That is my complaint. Try voting for it yourself.
