Let me hear you sing with me: ‘BOYS ARE BACK IN TOWN! BOYS ARE BACK IN TOWN!”

My favorite book club members are finally back. Good to see Gavin and Thea, having a stronger marriage but now, you gotta get ready to read Mack and Thea’s sister Liv’ story.

I loved those boys carry their big, golden hearts behind those muscularity and muscles. When they focus on something and team up to achieve an important mission, they turned into amateurish, humorous, clumsy agents. And this time they were

Just like I anticipated, MACK's story was even better.

Don’t you wish toxic masculinity could just disappear? Well, The Bromance Book Club and Lyssa Kay Adams get us one step closer.

And this time Mack is here to make us swoon. Like, swoon real hard. Because if Mack could crack open the tough cookie that was Liv, trust me, he can do anything. Even convert the masculine population to avid romance readers (if one is allowed to dream).

This instalment of the BBC follows Mack and Liv’s story while they

After reading the first book in this series I needed instant gratification with a book 2. I LOVE these Romance reading book club boys. Braden Mack is the founder of this little club that of men that get in touch with their and their women's feelings by reading the romance. The porny parts are just icing on the cake.

Braden is the typical he-man pretty boy of the group. He owns several nightclubs in Nashville and seems to be able to have all the ladies. They just don't stay with him. He is

Mack was the best side character in the first book. I’m so glad his dramatic ass is getting his own story now.

Was I worried about second book syndrome? Yes. Was this just as good if not better than the first? Yes! I just adore this entire concept. The Bromance Book Club won me over with its humor and take on toxic masculinity and the romance genre as a whole. Undercover Bromance tackled even more in such a tasteful way. While this still touches on the same type of story (ie dudes learning how to romance from romance books), it also addresses things like workplace harassment and sexual harassment. I love ...more

Undercover Bromance was a lot of fun, adorable, a bit cheesy and predictable, but overall a LOT of fun!! And I actually enjoyed it even more than Bromance Book Club. And that’s mainly thanks to Liv and Mack, and an entertaining story with some amazing LOL moments.

Again, I really enjoyed the author’s writing. And the idea of a male romance book club allowed for some interesting sub plots, for example the way the group rallied around each other, with advice that’s clearly taken from romance

When it comes to romance series, my reactions are pretty polarized. Either I hate number one and will not even attempt any of the rest or the author can’t write them fast enough for me. This one?????

Man, I just love it. The entire concept of a bunch of successful hotties learning how to become relationship experts via way of . . . . .

Toxic masculinity? Who? What? We don't know her... 4.5 stars! (Maybe 5? IDK, we'll see how it sits with me)

If you have read CATCH AND KILL or SHE SAID in the last few months, or if you are just exhausted by the never ending cavalcade of bullshit unearthed by Me Too, this is the romance for you. I just loved how meta this book is, both with our current social moment and with the romantic suspense genre itself. This kind of meta quality won't work for everyone, but I am 100% in the tank for it.
THIS WAS AMAZING! It’s fun and full of heart and absolutely heartbreaking and I have so many feelings.

when you're desperately trying to get an ARC but none of the Berkley publicists are responding:
Since the moment I finished reading The Bromance Book Club, I’ve been excited to jump into the sequel but I was prepared to wait for months. Imagine my surprise when I got approved for the ARC (Berkley rarely does) and I knew I had to read it as soon as possible. And it lived up to all my expectations and then some.

The writing in this book is as much fun as it’s predecessor was and I couldn’t put the book down at all. It’s not exactly an enemies to lovers kinda story, but more like two

Undercover Bromance, book 2 in the Bromance Book Club series by Lyssa Kay Adams was just utter PERFECTION! I fell head over heels in laughter and love with Braden Mack in book 1, The Bromance Club, and once again Lyssa did not disappoint with this novel.

Braden Mack is the hilariously charming bachleor among the club. He's single and ready to find

Romance is hella fun. When The Bromance Book Club came out last year, I knew I found myself a new author to love and mean, follow. Not like the crazy chick from Misery. Nope, not crazy like that! Adams writes a wonderful story about how there's no damn place for toxic masculinity in romancelandia. None whatsoever. I fell in love with the way that the men had a secret bookclub dedicated to romance in order to love and understand their ladies better.

It's hard to love a book and know a sequel is coming - but it's amazing when the second book elevates both books altogether!! wowza~ i love these stories :D

They are witty, well developed and delivered - the threads of respecting women, and ourselves is a back bone to these fun plot lines and delicious prose.

The second jumps in where the previous story left off; dealing with the secrets we hide that really only hold us back from being fully ourselves and/or happy.

This story follows a “romantic suspense” plot that lines up with the guys’ Bromance book club. We met Liv & Mack in the first book & now it’s their turn to take center stage. Holy banter!!! Their hate-to-love relationship was off the charts steam! I could read their witty banter

I loved this one even more than the first and I didn’t think that would be possible. I know this technically isn’t Adams’ second book, but as it’s the second book in this series and (I think) her second full-length novel, I’ll happily say: No sophomore slump here Adams knocked it out of the park with this one. (free review copy) I adore this series so much And I don’t know, maybe it’s not feminist to adore these big tough guys just because they’re super enlightened and feminist themselves (is this like how we aren’t “supposed to” celebrate dads who actually PARENT their kids because that should be the norm? I do that too ) and because they use romance novels to guide their lives but given their departure from the societal norm, I DO love them. So much. They cry and have hug huddles and clean a friend ...more

If you thought you loved Mack in The Bromance Book Club, wait until you read Undercover Bromance!! Lyssa Kay Adams is certainly doing her part in helping destroy toxic masculinity one book after the other. I wish all romance novels were like the books in this series.

First off, thanks to Berkley for sending this to me as part of a Goodreads giveaway. Was SO excited to get a chance to read this as I loved Bromance Book Club.

Overall, I really enjoyed the book. The bromance between the guys is one of the best parts of these books as far too few books focus on male friendship.

The amazing humor in this series (usually provided by the guys, but this time Liv was keeping pace) is always a high point. Liv and Mack also had some great banter. Let's just say there

This book. Oh, man. This book.

This book is why you should NEVER judge a book by it's genre, and why people should really just stop giving romance books the cold shoulder for no other reason than they are shelved in the "romance" section. A genre does not define a book, at least not by the standards most people associate with those genres. Most of the (well-written) romance books I have read have had so much heart and so much grit and have way more depth than most people would think they do, and
I BLASTED through this book within the course of an evening! UNDERCOVER BROMANCE brings back the wit and chaotic good energy of the Bromance Book Club. This time, we’re focusing on its suave and popular founder Mack, and our heroine is Thea’s cutting sister, Liv. Both characters have major differences, but they come together in a plot to overthrow the famous, celebrity chef Royce, who not only sacked Liv from her job but also has been caught sexually harassing female employees. Their plan? Work ...more
