I began writing book 6 when I had nothing else under contract, but some other projects sold when STRIFE did not. So for now, book 6 is on hiatus indefinitely. (less)

A Curse So Dark and Lonely by Brigid Kemmerer
“I have cerebral palsy,” she says quietly. “Do you know what that is?”
I'm often asked why I chose to give Harper CP. When I was growing up, I was close friends with a girl named Erin. We grew up riding horses together. She has CP, but it never stopped her. When I was designing Harper’s character, I knew I wanted to look at the idea of curses, and how sometimes what seems like a curse to one person might not be a curse at all to someone else. I hadn’t read a book with a character with CP, and Erin agreed to help me springboard my research, and that was how Harper got her start.

“If you want me to fix your homework, you need to leave me alone.” Then he spotted her. “You’re back.”
“Yeah.” She glanced between him and Gabriel. “You do his homework?”
“Just the math. It’s a miracle he can count to ten.”
“I can count to one.” Gabriel gave him the finger.”

“Nick,” he said. “I think I’m going to need you to bite my arm.”
“I think I’m going to need you to run that by me again.”
Brigid Kemmerer, Storm

“She hit him. Hard. Right in the face…
“Holy shit,” said Quinn. “Would it be wrong if I applaud?”

Rach Hi Brigid,

Just a random question: if you could be an elemental being or anything supernatural for 24 hours who or what would you be and why? :)

Marie -The Reading Otter I dont know how many other fans would want one, but I would love to have a Novella for Chris and Becca. :)

message 25: by Sarah

Sarah Thanks for accepting my friend request :)
Can't wait for Secret!

Eugenia (Genie In A Book) Thanks for accepting my friend request :)
Looking forward to reading and discovering more of your work.

Best wishes for more books in the future,
Genie

Shambhawi P. Thanks for accepting. (:

And honestly I completely admire your courage for what you did in Spirit with Kate, (view spoiler) I do feel real bad for Hunter but it is done. Writing and characterization wise Spirit is my favorite book - it was AHMAAZING. But my favorite Merrick brothers still Gabriel *swooon*.

I really am looking forward to being reacquainted with the God of Dance Adam and Nick's sexy descriptions of him. I just need to tweak my mental image of Nick a bit though to go with the new cover model (unless you tell me that it is not really Nick but sb else and all is right in my mental Elemental universe again).

Charlotte Thanks for adding me back!
