I know, the host was an amazing book when it ended i was sad but i was satisfied with her follow up book to the twilight saga but i wanted more and once i found out that she was writing at lease two more novels i was so excited!!
have you heard they're apparently pushing for a movie?

Who creates these lists? Shift by Rachel Vincent, Silver Borne by Patricia Briggs and Iron Crowned by Richelle Mead are not YA novels and shouldn't be on this list. Although, they are my most anticipated for 2010.

Catching Fire and Shadowland were released already and shouldn't be on this list either.

(No offense to those who love vampires, but...)
A LOT of the books on this list are vampire based. I don't know about the rest of you guys, but I'm really tired of this vampire thing. I can't go to a young adult section without being overtaken by vampire books.

I'm glad, however, that this vampire hype has gotten more teens to pick up a book! :)

Anyways, I can't wait till next year! A lot of good books (including those that aren't on this list) are coming out. :D

Much as I love "Twilight" and "Fallen", I can't vote for them. These books were NOT published in 2010. "Twilight" came out in 2005, and "Fallen" appeared last year. Ditto for "Eclipse", which dates from 2007.

This list is for books published THIS year.

I did vote for "Torment", which will be coming out in the fall, even though I haven't read it yet. That's because I love "Fallen", the first book in the series. I'm currently racing right through it, and will finish it this weekend. I'm sure the second one will be just as good!
