Oh... thank you very much. I was confused because this book was on "YA NOVELS OF 2020" as well.

Hey, Jasmine, were you going to create the Middle Grade Novels of 2021 list? There have been several announced by now.

It is up and added to the links, thank you for the reminder!
Looks like Tristan Strong Punches A Hole In The Sky belongs on the 2019 list; its publication date is listed as October 15, 2019.
The Mystwick School of Musicraft seems to be a unique case; the audiobook came out in September 2019, yet the print edition came out in January 2020. Does it belong here or on the 2019 list?
i'd say 2019, unfortunately. unless it's a mistake? and the release date was pushed back but the record not corrected
rachel ☾ wrote: "i'd say 2019, unfortunately. unless it's a mistake? and the release date was pushed back but the record not corrected"The book wasn't delayed, it's that the audiobook came out first as an audible exculsive before the print release.
Removed a few pre-2020 releases, along with Queen Bee Rules, The World Between Blinks, and Hazel Bly and the Deep Blue Sea, which got pushed to 2021.
Removed Blood and Fire. This is a 2014 release. I have no idea why 13 people all of a sudden decided to spam it to the top of the list. Also deleted Britfield and the Lost Crown, which is from 2019.
Good grief! The same person went crazy with non-2020 releases. I think I got all of them. Let me know if I missed any.I also removed The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes because it's YA, not middle grade.
Got it, thanks!I also removed The Best Worst Summer, The Nightmare Thief, The Thirteenth Hour, The Legend of Auntie Po, and Delphine and the Silver Needle, which are now 2021, plus Rialto, which was pushed to 2022.
Someone has put Bartimaeus Stroud's Lockwood series all over the 250+ positions. Those are not published this year.
Deleted for wrong year of publication:A Night Divided, by Jennifer Nielsen
The Whispering Skull by Jonathan Stroud
The Creeping Shadow by Jonathan Stroud
The Screaming Staircase by Jonathan Stroud
The Hollow Boy by Jonathan Stroud
The Dagger in the Desk by Jonathan Stroud

Thanks! Can't believe I mangled Jonathan Stroud's name - lol
People have been going crazy with the non-2020 releases again. I just discovered several more and removed them.

Removed Goldenpaw, Starla Jean, Space Camp, Speculation, Root Magic, Secret Book Club, and The Raconteur's Commonplace Book, which were all pushed to 2021. Also deleted From Archie to Zack, which is a picture book.
Thanks for pointing that out! I did some cleanup on this list and removed all titles that were delayed from their original 2020 release. Manu, Starfish, Miraculous, Manifester, Five Wolves, Adorable Empire, Spin with Me, Haven and the Titans, Seven Minutes of Magic, Wild Daughters of Ares, Tests of Faith and Patience, Doodles from the Boogie Down, The Fate of Freddy Mitchell, and Untitled by Jack Cheng, Ian Johnstone, Mariko Nagai, and Lindsay Eagar, which were pushed to 2021 or later or have release dates that are currently unknown. Also removed All Thirteen for being non-fiction and a couple of pre-2020 releases and adult books.
