It's a game which anyone man who wants to apply themselves can become a bit a shark with their friends. I never had aspirations to go pro but I have won a few friendly bets with my girlfriends and frie Read more of this blog post »

The Next President by Kate Messner
"Appreciate this unique angle on a book about United States Presidents that humanizes them and also shows kids the potential they have to reach for the highest office in this nation, should they choose to. "
The Next President by Kate Messner
"This remarkable book takes presidential history and makes it both an exploration throughout time as well as an invitation to see oneself as a potential president. The book begins with George Washington as president and points out that when he was pre" Read more of this review »

Kate Messner, All the Answers

“[I]n spite of her work as a reference librarian, she discovered that life isn't about knowing all the answers. The best we can do is make peace with our questions, learn who we are, know our strengths, and do the best we can with the gifts we've been given while we're here.”
Kate Messner, All the Answers

“I'm not sure, but I'm guessing that once you're the kind of person who thinks about all this stuff, you don't go back to being the kind of person who doesn't. And that's okay. It's harder, but I think I'd rather be the kind of person who does.”

Kim B. Just thought I should let you know that I finally got around to buying "The Brilliant Fall of Gianna Z." I would've gotten to the book sooner because it sounds right up my alley, but my bookstores sold out of it pretty quickly and none of my local libraries carry it. As soon as I read it I'll post a review and tell you what I thought about it. :)

Bradley Thank you for adding me as a friend. =)
