Conny | 145 comments I am juggling three challenges this year: This one, the Around the Year in 52 Books challenge (also prompt-based), and the Mount TBR challenge, which is all about decimating the existing pile of unread books.
I have tried to fill all the prompts with books from my TBR and will not count the same book for both prompt-based challenges, at the expense that I may not finish one, or both. But I definitely want to avoid buying new books I don't really want for the sole purpose of filling a prompt for one of the challenges. I did manage to find something for almost every prompt here, though, so I expect to do fine. But I have never handled two different prompt-based challenges before and will just have to see how it goes.
By special request I am adding the English edition and the back-translated titles for books I am reading in a language other than English (if they're not a direct translation anyway). It's always fun to see what translators and publishers around the world make of titles ... and I should know, because I am a translator myself^^

Kathryn | 15 comments I've still got some blanks - I'm (hopefully) going to wait until some other challenges I want to do are posted, and see if I can fill the empty slots with some of the books I choose for them. For others I have several suggestions, so I may wait and see what I feel like (and what's available from the library) at the time. I am going a bit rogue this year, and tweaking some of the challenges where I don't have something on my shelves that fits - because my priority is to reduce the size of my TBR shelf, more than completing a challenge.
