Might have a wee bit of spam at the top of the list.

Susanna - Censored by GoodReads wrote: "No problem."Please continue to do so. Must be a sh*t book for them to keep re-putting their votes up. Good anti-read motivation that ;D
Timothy Mean and the Time Machine is also a spammed book. Find it on a lot of lists with the same no-body accounts with no friends or profiles voting on it.Anyway it can be removed as well? Please and thank you!
Spam alert at #21, Never Go With Your Gut.Also, at least one person has ignored the instructions and voted for 15 books.

They must have read your note; when I looked just now there were only three people who voted for the book (and everyone one of them voted for this one book only).
Some of the voters with too many votes have their profile set to 'private', so I can't sent a message unfortunately.
#12 Never Go With Your Gut: How Pioneering Leaders Make the Best Decisions and Avoid Business Disasters Is definitely Spam. Same tells as before.
Does spamming a book on Good Reads work or something?
Oh, it was a different person who voted for the 15 books. The Never Go with Your Gut spammers are now at 4 votes and rising.
I created two lists for 2020 and neither of them are there :-( Looks like the same problem we had at the end of last year...I tried it twice now (on the 27th and 28th of December) and gave up. I sent GR a mail about this problem.
As far as I know, if you create a list but no books are on it, Goodreads software eats it. So you have to put at least one book as a placeholder, or else it will disappear.
Looks like a success! I can still see it today. :)By the way, I deleted Never Go With Your Gut. Voted on by four accounts, all blank, all only voting for this one book on multiple lists.
Rainbowheart wrote: "Looks like a success! I can still see it today. :)."It seems to be working! Thanks :-) (although some people can't read and added books to a list that doesn't start until 2020).
Removed Syrian Brides. Promotional spam being added by the same group of people onto different lists.
@JohnLike I said before: Go right ahead but make sure you limit your votes to five max (and make sure they are books you read in 2019).

Thanks! I love this exercise! It is interesting how little overlap there is - we're all reading different books, I guess. I'm also impressed by how many people are reading the classics.

I keep a list of books I read (with the dates I started and finished a book). Do you too?
It's what I use the "Over 35s" list for - makes this and my "best/worst reads of the year" lists very easy to make.

Yes - I do it on Goodreads! Goodreads has been keeping track of all the books I've read and when I read them since 2011. Before that it's just guesswork, though.
Removed Finding Identity. Promotional spam being added by the same group of people onto different lists.
