Over 35? This is where we can keep track of what we're reading in 2020. (Not our favorites from past years.) [Note: Spam will be deleted if detected. Mostly what it will earn is the ire of the regular voters.]
Last year's top reads were: Where the Crawdads Sing, Becoming, Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine, The Tattooist of Auschwitz, and Educated.

Thanks for reminding me!
Removed Syrian Brides. Promotional spam being added by the same group of people onto different lists.
Rainbowheart wrote: "Removed Syrian Brides. Promotional spam being added by the same group of people onto different lists."Can you do that? With out getting into trouble? I have my eyes fixed on this one: Reversed Order Existence: Reversed Order Series (rated more than 1500 times mostly be account with one one book). It has been voted high into some prominent lists. I have complained to support and so have others, but nothing happens.
You can remove it if the list creator has specified no spam. The problem with those Reversed Order Existence people is that I haven't seen them vote it onto lists (yet) with a no spam rule. Although I personally think creating 1500 sockpuppets qualifies as severe abuse of the Goodreads system.
Wow, Chaos and Grime: A Year in the Life of a Chinese City is all over lots and lots of Goodreads lists - so much for people not spamming. What a shame these lists are spammed, those that do it really should take a look and themselves and feel ashamed.
I removed Chaos and Grime, but this list has a more serious spamming problem. Look at all the unknown titles in the top 20, all voted on by the same people. Cindy Sproles, Norma Gail, Susan G. Mathis, and other authors. Seems like these are all being voted on by a round robin.Really ruins the integrity of the list. Susanna, do you want those removed? There are a lot of them.
I could not agree more Rainbowheart, these lists provide reading ideas and light relief but it seems some folks just have to use them for their own means. Shame on them that do.
More removed author spam:Don't Close Your Eyes by Lynessa Layne
Complicated Moonlight by Lynessa Layne
Layne's fangirls are persistent - 29 ratings, 32 PAGES of listopias. Book was out the end of this June!
Good Lord, 32 pages. I did some cleanup on some of the other lists where Layne's books were spammed inappropriately.
Susanna - Censored by GoodReads wrote: "Layne's fangirls are persistent - 29 ratings, 32 PAGES of listopias. Book was out the end of this June!"Make that 45! pages.
They're up to 47 now. I tried to remove what I could when it was obvious it was totally inappropriate.Funny how this book seems to hit almost every genre imaginable! It's a kinky dominant alpha mafia romance, oh no wait, it has a beta hero, never mind, now it's a cozy mystery, now it's enemies to lovers, now it's friends to lovers, and on and on and on.
Susanna - Censored by GoodReads wrote: "Layne's fangirls are persistent - 29 ratings, 32 PAGES of listopias. Book was out the end of this June!"Now 47 pages! And 82 reviews. Not much bang for the buck there.
