Way to go. Is that less or more than last year? Personally scaling back to 55, the number I managed this year.

My goal last year was 120 and I ended up reading 151. I figured 130 was a good jumping off point since who knows what the year will bring!Did you read anything good over Xmas break?!
No. Read On Such a Full Sea by Chang-Rae Lee (touted as the next Murakami). Thought it was awful. Fails one of the cardinal rules of writing to show, not tell. Entire book was a recounting of events by an unnamed character. It was all I could do to finish it. You?
That's really disappointing! Hopefully your next read will be better!I reread Into the Wilderness by Sara Donati. Perfect for Outlander fans! I had only ever read the first in this series so I'm excited to read the rest now. Also read YA novel Simon Vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli which was adorable. I'm working my way through 15 Dogs and should finish it tomorrow. So far so good!
