Why is a book that was published in May 2011 on this list, for books to be published in 2012? (Dreams Unleashed)

Okay, how about a currently obscure Nov. 2011 release (The Ballad of Young Tam Lin). Great writing, really too late to be noticed in 2011. Opinions?
Why are "Changes" by Jim Butcher and "The Doors of Stone" by Pat Rothfuss on this list? "Changes" came out in 2010. "Doors of Stone" probably won't hit stores until 2014ish.
I added "The Rubicons of Mars". It is an ebook I just published. It is a fast moving action adventure. Our hero is an Earth Force fighter pilot named Dirk Raiden. And, since the book is brand new - you can be the first to review it.Hope you like it.
Cheers,
Brad (James Brady Vorhies)
Io Deceneus Journal of a Time Traveler, quite an interesting book. Good to see new authors coming out with some fresh ideas.
Dear fellow readers,I could use your help as this is bothering me that I am unable to recall the name of the book but I recall one of the speakers on NPR (broadcast within the past 10days) mention one specific book, I vaguely recall the name being a one word..The storyline goes as such:
An alien couple land on a remote farm also owned by another earthling couple and the book is about their interactions and through these interactions how the earth couple find their own spirituality and so on.
Sounded like a book I would love to read...I just seem to have blanked on the book's title or the author!
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Cheers!
I liked a lot of Piers Anthony's series, but after a while it did get old, but so did he. In my opinion, the best "science" in SF is subtle, so much so that it is accepted by the most skeptical reader. Of course, like Piers, I'm old too and I am dazzled by the real-life science technology that is moving at such a rapid pace. I write science fiction, but would consider an Asimoz, for example, style to be boring and old fashioned. Please don't misunderstand, it was great in its day. Lacy Dawn Adventures is not a series. Each story, short or novel, stands on its own and is not in a particular chronological order. The commonality of each adventure is a female, nonsexy, evolved humanoid protagonist with what appears to be magical qualities in early chapters, but that readers realize are various scientific advances as the stories unfold.
