Great list so far!! Are the Walking Dead graphic novels good? I've never seen the show but my husband loves it so I bought him Vol 1 for Christmas. If I haven't seen the show would I enjoy the book? I was thinking of reading it for the Graphic Novel prompt.

They are really, really good. I'm personally addicted to the show but I think honestly it doesn't matter if you've watched the show or not. Fair warning though, the book are even darker than the show.

Are her other books similar in content/style to Garden Spells?

I would say so! I think Garden Spells is the longest, so the others might be slightly quicker reads. Typically I find that Garden Spells & The Sugar Queen are universal favorites, but my personal favorites are The Girl Who Chased the Moon and The Peach Keeper. Lost Lake, which came out last winter, is also really great. There aren't any SAA books I would hesitate to recommend!
