Ten of My Favorite Things.
• Favorite genres: Westerns, mysteries or romances. Read one, or one of all three:
Zoo by James Patterson - *** - 9/4/2013
• Books with dogs in them. I also like wolves and would take any book with one in it or has a wolf shapeshifter:
Fool Moon by Jim Butcher - **** - 9/3/2013
• Hawt guy on the cover. **shrugs** What can I say?
Lover Mine by J.R. Ward - *** - 9/5/2013
• Coffee ice cream - so any book with a cup of coffee or ice cream on the cover
- or is the color of the shade of coffee you drink or the color of your favorite ice cream.
listopia: Espresso, Java, Coffee and YA Coffee Covers.
• My favorite color is blue: Read a book with a cover that is predominately blue. Check listopia!
Heaven and Earth by Nora Roberts - ** - 9/17/2013
• Beautifully styled hair: Read a book that shows a perfect coiffed hair style on the cover:
Unsinkable: A Memoir by Debbie Reynolds - ***** - 9/9/2013
• Hats. Yup. Love them. Don't wear them often, but I love the look. Even if they cover up a beautiful hairstyle, LOL! Read a book with a hat on the cover.
• I ♥ cookies: Read a book that somehow relates to cookies. Cookie on the cover, in the title, or is the name of the protagonist. Or maybe they bake them?:
The Tao of Martha: My Year of LIVING; Or, Why I'm Never Getting All That Glitter Off of the Dog by Jen Lancaster - ***** - 9/24/2013
• Read any book from my all-time-favorites bookshelf:
On the Island by Tracey Garvis-Graves - ***** - 9/2/2013
• Listen to any book on audio - My second favorite media delivery system, after the “dead tree version” - give yourself a pat on the back. Or better yet... as I believe in “free will”, pick a book of your choice. If audiobooks absolutely drive you up the wall, and you can't conceive giving it another chance after referring to my list of favorite narrators, then read it “old school” via paperback or hardback.
Lisa Kay's Favorite Narrators
Susan Ericksen
Robert Petkoff
Rosalyn Landor
Lorelei King
Angela Dawe
Khristine Hvam
Kate Reading
Anna Fields
Any book on audio will do. Just thought I'd list my favorite narrators in case you wanted suggestions.

Pet Names Alphabet Reading Challenge A-Z
Duration: 8/19/2013 - Til Done!
Goal: From A - Z use different pet names for each letter of the alphabet. You may use the names of fictitious breeds, as long as they are pets of any character in the novel (it does not have to be a main character).
Lisa Kay has tried to do this as a personal challenge for the last two years and has NOT done it yet. So, she’s given you some extra options.
Hard to Find Letters and “Wild Cards”: Several letters* are hard to find: like “Q,” “U,” “V,” “X,” “Y,”and “Z”. Therefore, you may use these letters within the name.
Also, we will allow three “wild cards”** consisting of two types.
1) You may read a book that has an animal that is of a breed that has the letter you desire ( “V” - Golden Retriever. Shown for “V” in the example below.)
2) You may read a book with a title, author, or character that you have used (or would like to use) to name your pet. (Shown for “Q” in the example below.)
Duration: You set the pace. This one may take you more than a year!
