I did! It took me while to get used to the world, but after that I really enjoyed it! It's nice to read a book where the main character doesn't get all stupid in front of her crush :)

The cover looks so cheesy but I keep getting drawn to it when I go to Barnes & Nobles. Let me know if it's any good?

Series I'm Finishing:
Black Dagger Brother
Sookie Stackhouse
Diana Gabaldon's Outlander Series
Series I'm Starting:
Jim Butcher's Dresden Files Series
Virgin River
Kinsey Milhone

I think the books are bit lighter than the TV show. However book #9 was kinda dark, but I remember starting the series before the show came out and thinking that the show was pretty dark compared to the books! I would give it a try and see how you like it! They're definately some romance in the beginning of the series!

Was a monstrous chthonic female character, essentially an extension of an apotropaic mask, whose gaze could turn onlookers to stone. In other versions she was a human with blonde hair and she had no sisters. She slept with Poseidon in Athena’s temple, so Athena punished Medusa by turning her into a monster with hair made of snakes.
