Nothing but Reading Challenges
Titled Titles
Duration: 7/19/2013 - 7/19/2014
Idea: Every person, and some animals, have a title of some sort, whether that be “Miss,” or “Mademoiselle.” “Mr.,” or “Doctor.” Or “Saint,” “Sir,” “Lady,” “Judge,” or “Queen.” The list goes on and on....
Rules: This challenge is to read as many books as you can that name an individual (using a proper noun) with a specific title. For example, possibilities that would work could include “Pope John,” “Mr. Smith,” “Queen Elizabeth,” “Dr. Livingstone,” etc.
• However, a book with a title such as “Portrait of a Lady" would not work because it does not specify who the lady in question is (there is no proper noun). The book must include a title and a name. The title as part of the series name will also be accepted.
