Kelly (Maybedog) I would say Sookie Stackhouse is quintessentially urban fantasy: It has vampires and takes place in an urban environment. If it's not urban fantasy, then neither is most of this list. Maybe the poster was thinking of a different series?

If you're adding books/characters, would you mind adding Chess Putnam, Marla Mason and Harper Connelly? They all have several books to their series, they all have more ratings than many of the series on this list (meaning they're wider read) and they all have voters on this list asking for them. I'm using this list to find more great series and I think it would be cool to include series that people who like your poll have specifically pointed out since other people looking at this poll might find those series interesting, too.
