Diana Pharaoh Francis Hi Gwen! Yep, there will be two more books for sure: Stone Thaw and Bone Dreams. I think the first will be available in the fall of 2015 sometime.

I have a number of iron in the fire, but I so want to get back to writing Horngate. I'll tell you a secret--There's a Horngate story coming in an anthology in 2017. It's written and finished. It's not a Max story, but it is a Giselle story, and it jumps forward a few years. It's given me the foundation for the next books in a way I didn't expect, so I'm really ready to write. (less)

They DO Exist

Went geocaching yesterday and discovered one of these. In working order, no less. So for those of you who thought of them in the category of the Easter Bunny and bras that fit and are comfortable, they really do exist. Course Clark Kent would be showing quite an eyeful if he tried changing here, but that would be alright by me. I like handsome naked men scenery. Given the rarity of payphones and b

Diamond City 5 is called Scatter of Light and should be out in the first half of 2021, depending on how much work my editor thinks it still needs. It's a HUGE book. Like twice as long as Trace of Magic.

First, so you know, I got Dead in Dublin from Netgalley. Also, Catie's a friend and I love her books in general, and pounced on this one super fast because it sounded so good and did I say I love her books? She's an amazing writer.

Now, onto the book.

First, the back cover blurb:

“Niko does seem to have a buzzard's luck, don't he? Thor said after a moment.
Tyler slanted a look at him. "What the hell does that mean?"
Thor looked startled, then grinned. "Means he's been diggin' up more snakes than he can kill."
Tyler looked at Alexander. "Is he even speaking english?"
"Niko has bad luck," Alexander translated.
Tyler looked at Thor. "You couldn't just say that?"
"I did, son, but you just can't seem to spot a goat in a flock of sheep."
Tyler scowled. "I'm pretty sure that was a insult."
"Only because it was," Niko said.
"How the hell am I supposed to get all self-righteous and pissed if I can't understand what the idiot is saying?”

“Just remember, I am not going anywhere,” he said, still watching her lips. “And if you ever try to hide from me, I will not believe you are dead. I will find you. Count on it.”
