message 1: by Shawn (new)

Shawn Wickersheim Good luck with your reading goal! But more importantly, what is your writing goal for 2013? :)

message 2: by AndreaMGC (new)

AndreaMGC WHAT!? Explain to me how you managed to read another 3 books since the last time I checked (today)! Insane reading machine.

message 3: by Verónica (new)

Verónica Largo Agreed with Andrea. You remind me of Number 5 in Short Circuit and I kinda hate you for that :(

message 4: by Verónica (new)

Verónica Largo Well ok... I don't hate you, let's say I envy you really bad, you lucky Number 5.

message 5: by La (new)

La oh Mr.Rothfuss...good luck :)

message 6: by Sherilynn (new)

Sherilynn Macale 200?! Jesus, Patrick Rothfuss. Setting the bar awfully high there.

message 7: by Lawrence (new)

Lawrence Stolk 48/200 :O Now you make me feel bad about failing my 50 goal =/

message 8: by Luek (new)

Luek keep going man! Im at 76 out of 100, you can do it!

message 9: by Diandra (new)

Diandra Not doing as well as last year?

message 10: by David (new)

David Llacuna Ferrer It's normal you cannot read all the 200 books, taking into account that you've been traveling all around the world during this year.

Let us know if you come back to Barcelona, because i couldn't go to the event this time (well, i went there during the first day, but i couldn't enter due to the loooong queu)... Moreover, then you will be able to visit/discover the city, which is really beautiful and full of history.

message 11: by Nolan (new)

Nolan oh no!! Pat's not gonna make it :(

message 12: by Marc (new)

Marc I'm going to see this as an ever hopeful sign that you have been too busy writing Book 3 to meet your goal of 200 books. The last couple of years I thought, How can he read all those books and still have time to write?!

message 13: by Amy (new)

Amy Pat I'm shocked. How could you? Putting a number on books... Do you dine in a fine restaurants all year with the goal of eating 1000 lbs of prime rib? No. You take a bite and roll it around. Sip some wine, enjoying the dance of flavors on your palate. Then let them settle. Have some asparagus. Good books--like yours--are to be savored, slowly with care, rereading a passage that moved you. Goal? Bah. The only goal that makes sense in the realm of reading is growing your love of the written word. Not eating through them like Homer and a box of donuts.

message 14: by Daniel (new)

Daniel I did it! I won! I finished my goal! Admittedly I counted the works I had to read for class, but I read those so whatever.

message 15: by Brian (new)

Brian *cough* Cheater! *cough*

message 16: by Patrick (new)

Patrick Whatever. I didn't even include the 10-15 Pratchet books I re-read this year. Or the Dresden Files series I read for a second time....

message 17: by Brian (new)

Brian Sorry, I was referring to the last second dump truck load of books to make the goal.

Which was your favorite book you read this, err last year?

message 18: by Icia (new)

Icia Maybe if I stopped creepin' on people's YouTube and goodreads pages, and all the time I waste reading OTHER peoples reviews of the books I'm reading I'd actually read more myself ^^
