Really? 50? Don’t you read that many in a few months? :-) I look forward to another year of interesting reviews.

@Jim: Thanks, Jim! I always feel a bit silly when I set the number at 50 because, let's face it, we all know I'm going to read more than 50 books in 2018. But I'm a person who worries when a goal is unmet, and I don't want to feel pressured that I must read more just fulfill my 2018 reading challenge. With the goal set at a more reasonable number I'm able to focus on the joy of reading rather than worrying about hitting a certain number of books read. :)

@Trey: I like to keep my reading goals reasonable so books are a treat rather than work. If I set the goal sky-high, then I stress about meeting it. Better to keep it low (as if reading 50 books a year were a 'low' number) and let reading remain joyful and stress-free.

Wow that’s awesome how quickly you have met your goal. I just passed mine but I am currently in a reading slump and can’t see the light at the end of the reading tunnel I am stuck in.
