The only thing that really BUGS me about this list is the fact that people feel the need to put multiple vols of a series on the list. Vote for vol 1 and consider the entire series accounted for! By voting for all the volumes just takes up unneccesary pages and length, which causes other series to get overlooked and neglected. Ugh.

Someone that has only eaten bread his whole life, will find the worst pudding ever made, the most delicious food ever. The best, as far as he can tell. Which means that opinions are limited based on the amount of experience we have on the topic.

My first anime that I have been exposed to, was dragon ball Z. followed by yu yu hakusho. based on those two, yu yu hakusho is for me the best anime.

All I want to say is that opinions are circumstantial. They cannot be wrong by itself. And statistics made of those also can't be wrong by themselves. It is human nature.

Okay, I agree that only the first volume of a manga should be represented. As far as this being a "best" list, I can see that it is more a popularity list. What one person thinks is awesome, another might not. It all depends on what people to be considered the "best" manga. Personally, I wasn't too impressed with Death Note, but it seems to be what people like. The more popular something is, the more votes it's going to get.

However, one thing that's really getting to me about this list is the fact that there are a bunch of non-manga in the later pages. I mean, HP and the Prisoner of Azkaban is on this list. Much as I love HP, it's not manga.
