20.4 - The Plot Line Thickens - I loved Groundhog Day and the plot line of reliving the same day repeatedly and making changes to see how those changes affect those around you.

I read Before I Fall by Lauren Oliver. In this book, Sam is in an accident and dies, but she does not go to heaven, instead she relives the day she died 7 times, changing her actions to see the affects.

15.1 - New Horizons - I chose the shelf "Bullying." Though I would not typically choose books about this topic, as a teacher, I am seeing more and more serious bullying issues occuring in schools (even in 2nd grade).

I read The Chocolate War by Robert Cormier.

This book was very disturbing to me and I did not enjoy it. I did, however, choose to read some other books on the "Bullying" list and I did enjoy those books and found them to be less disturbing and more insightful.
