I drew a Two of Hearts and read Truth & Beauty: A Friendship by Ann Patchett. I needed to read a book published after 2000 and a book published on an even year and this was published in 2004.
The second card I drew was a Jack of diamonds. I read Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close
by Jonathan Safran Foer. I needed to read a book by a man and at one time was on a best seller list. This book was on the USA Today's best seller list in March and April of 2005.

For 25.3 I am now using A Child Called "It" by Dave Pelzer. This is on the Dark Book list and I agree it is a very depressing book to think that a child has to live this way, but an uplifting book, that he got help and love.

One more task to go!!!!!!

For 3, I read Practical Demonkeeping by ChristoPher Moore. His books are just plain, good fun. I enjoyed this book of a young priest-in-training who accidently conjures up a demon-from-hell and must find a way to send him back.
For 6, I read Coffee: A Dark History, which was alternated between being super-interesting and terribly dry. Still an interesting read, though. Coffee actually has a pretty fascinating history.
That's probably my last task for this Challenge.
My new (final?) points should be: 380.
