Fall Challenge 2010 Completed Tasks (do NOT delete any posts in this thread)

Kiss Me Deadly: 13 Tales of Paranormal Love
The book's editor is not a GoodReads author, but most of the contributors are, including:
Maggie Stiefvater; Becca Fitzpatrick;Rachel Vincent;Karen Mahoney. There are others but I figured it would just count for one GoodReads author ticket since it is just one book, so I won't link them all here.

20.6 LDB’s Task (Seasoned Reader) - SEEING YOURSELF IN A TITLE

Read Letters to a Secret Lover by Toni Blake
*Toni Blake is a Goodreads Author*
I put in Robyn Carr in the Map and Toni Blake was a name that was given as similar in style. They both have written books with the midwest/outdoors as a backdrop. I felt this was an accurate match. I have never read anything by Toni Blake before and enjoyed it.

When you post multiple tasks in one post (which is not a problem), please post them in numerical order, so 20.7 first, then 25.2. That makes it easier to check and make sure everything is included.
No need to repost.

Libby Librarian was lying on the floor unconscious. There was a ladder across from her, an open door across the room and a very heavy book lying next to her. She fell off the ladder reaching for the classic leather bound books on the top shelf.

Please include your total points in each post, just a little note at the bottom will do. This allows me to check the totals each time I enter a new completed task in the spreadsheet, so that I can find anything I've missed or try to immediately resolve any problems.
This will help keep everything straight, and everyone's point totals correct.
No need to repost.

My first post of the Challenge!
5.5 Take Me Out To The Ball Game
In the Year of the Boar and Jackie Robinson By Bette Bao Lord
This was a GREAT book about a young Chinese immigrant girl to Brooklyn in 1947, the year that Jackie Robinson and the Brooklyn Dodgers went to the World Series against the New York Yankees.
5.9 Comfort Read
Grave Error by Stephen Greenleaf.
I loved revisiting this author. I had read one of his books for the Summer Challenge (I needed a book with the word Strawberry and there were very few to choose from!) and it was #13 in his John Marshall Tanner series. I HATE skipping to the end of a series so knowing where Tanner came from and beginning to learn how he became the man he was so many years later was thrilling for me. I will be reading a few other Tanner books for this challenge!!
5.10 Name That Car
Heat Wave by Richard Castle.
This was an easy pick for me. I met my husband back when we were in college, living in different states and during the mid 70's it was the era of CB's. Heat Wave was his "handle" as well as the name of his car, a candy apple red 66 Dodge Charger. We spent many hours driving and chatting on the CB, he loved to drive fast and listening to the chatter of truckers telling us where all the speed traps were!
10.2 We Need A Drink
The Riesling Retribution by Ellen Crosby.
This was book 4 in her Wine Country Series, sadly, only 1 more to go.
Ellen is a Goodreads author
