5.9 Comfort ReadI read Secrets She Left Behind by Diane Chamberlain(a GoodReads Author).
I consider this a comfort read, in that although it had almost 500 pages, it was a quick read and easy to follow. Diane Chamberlain is one of my favorite authors.

Jessica VA5.2 The Play Must Go On - Antigone by Sophocles
**I read the Translation by Robert Fagles found in the Penguin Classics edition of Sophocles' Three Theban Plays (The Three Theban Plays: Antigone, Oedipus the King, Oedipus at Colonus)
Though I like Euripedes' tragedies (Medea, etc.) much moreso than Sophocles, I am glad I returned to Sophocles for this task. I liked Antigone and much appreciated Sophocles blatant portrayal of Creon's fatal flaw. And I always love a play where Tiresias, the old blind prophet, appears (anybody put an estimate on about how long Tiresias lived?).

I loved this task because one of my very favorite authors fit the task. I have read all of Karin Slaughter's Grant County series and would give each and every one a ★★★★★ rating. If you haven't read her novels - you should.

Ashley FLFor Task 5.10 (Name that Car), I read Devil in Winter by Lisa Kleypas, as I have had several cars for which "Devil" would have been an appropriate name!
For Task 15.5 (Literature Map), I put in Jennifer Crusie and got Rachel Gibson and read Simply Irresistible. I thought the author was a good match -- very similar styles. I still prefer Jennifer Crusie, but I will try some other Rachel Gibson books.
For Task 30.1 (It's in the Cards), I got King of Hearts and read Scandal in Spring by Lisa Kleypas (published 2006) (set in a country with a king or queen and published since 2000), King of Diamonds and read Ten Things I Love About You by Julia Quinn (set in a country with a king or a queen and on a bestseller list: http://www.nytimes.com/2010/06/20/boo...). I also pulled the King of Spades and the 3 of Spades, but did not use those.
