I haven't done a seasonal challenge before and had planned to start with the winter challenge, but checked to see what I might've read to fit the fall challenge for kicks. I had quite a few! So here they are:
5.5 - Take Me Out to the Ball Game
Stolen: A letter to my captor by Lucy Christopher
5.6 - She's a Beauty
Glimmerglass by Jenna Black

5.8 - Freedom to Read
Annie on My Mind by Nancy Garden

Maximum Ride by NaRae Lee
I'm not a car person, but Maximum Ride sounds pretty cool to me :)
10.1 SHORTER DAYS
Half-Minute Horrors by Susan Rich
10.3 FREEDOM!
The Dog in the Wood by Monika Schröder (end of WWII)
10.4 LEAVING CIVILIZATION BEHIND
Vampirates: Demons of the Ocean by Justin Somper
10.5 THE FIRST ESTATE
Catalyst by Laurie Halse Anderson
(main character's father is a minister- makes them take in another family from church to live with them. his ministry directly affects all of the characters in the story)
10.6 IN THE PINK
Love Is Hell by Melissa Marr

10.9 UNDER THE COVERS
Willow by Julia Hoban
found on the list "Postively, Absolutely the Best Young Adult Books of 2009. Guaranteed." http://www.flashlightworthybooks.com/...
15.1 - NEW HORIZONS
Living Dead Girl by Elizabeth Scott
found this book on "rape" shelf
15.3 - CONTINENTAL DIVIDE
Europe: Soulless by Gail Carriger
15.4 - FALL EQUINOX
Zombie Blondes by Brian James and The Maze Runner by James Dashner each book has 13 letters in the title
15.8 - IS THAT AN EYE UNDERNEATH THAT NOSE?

8 of hearts: The Scorch Trials by James Dashner published in 2010
30.5 - Ms. Anderson and Tanja's Task: LIFE LESSONS
my die were 3 & 5
3. Life As We Knew It by Susan Beth Pfeffer
5. Love You Hate You Miss You by Elizabeth Scott This is about a high school girl who's best friend is killed in a car accident while partying. I felt that even though the partying and sleeping around and shoplifting described in the book probably do happen in real life, it was almost glorified in the text of the book. The girl dies, but the ride sure sounds cool. Not sure it's a book I'd want my teen to read.

10.8 - What a Way to Make a Living - I read Open: An Autobiography by Andre Agassi.
10.9 - Under the Covers - I chose the list "21 Great Books as Great as the Movie," so I read Fight Club. I really liked the movie and I enjoyed the book as well. Of course, having seen the movie first, I knew what to expect in the book, but I think it would qualify as flashlight worthy. It was definitely a page-turner.
15.2 - Recommended Books - I voted on The Count of Monte Cristo, The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil,The Picture of Dorian Gray, and One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. I chose to read Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Cafe.
15.5 - Literature Map - I typed in Amy Sedaris' name and Nick Hornby's name appeared, who I had never read. So, I read High Fidelity. I think it was appropriate his name was "linked" to hers. They both have a similar writing style -- snarky & unapologetic in their writing, which is refreshing.
20.6 - Seasoned Reader - I used my first name, Kristen, and I read The Ice Man: Confessions of a Mafia Contract Killer.
20.8 - It's My Birthday - I read Inside the Helmet: Life as a Sunday Afternoon Warrior.
30.1 - It's in the Cards - I drew a Two of Spades, a Queen of Clubs, an Eight of Spades, and a Jack of Diamonds. For the Jack of Diamonds, I read Friday Night Lights: A Town, a Team, and a Dream by H.G. Bissinger and it was listed on "The New York Times" Nonfiction Bestselling List on October 21, 1990 (http://www.hawes.com/1990/1990-10-21.pdf). For the Two of Spades, I read The Marvellous Land of Oz, which was published in 1904.
30.6 - Exploration and High Adventure -
A. Read Into Thin Air: A Personal Account of the Mt. Everest Disaster
B. Read A Walk Across America
This should bring my point total to 275.
