Chloé (fullmetalclo) | 573 comments I was born in 1986, but 31 is too much for one challenge or I will not participate in other challenges.

I love the idea but I don't want to limit myself only to the ten last years or so. Does it have to be consecutive or could I take about ten meaningful years?

If so I would do something like:
0/12

1986 (birthday):
1991 (Move to the country side and started school):
1998 (Finished elementary school):
2001 (First love):
2003 (Graduated high school and first apartment):

2006 (Graduated Cegep in Science):
2009 (Graduate from bachelor in psychology):
2011 (Trip to Japan):
2012 (Got Graduate degree in behavioral intervention):
2013 (Birth of my nephew):
2014 (Graduated in East Asian Studies):

If not then I'll do
2005 to 2016

Yes, but trying to decide when to start. I was thinking 1993 when I graduated from high school. Still a lot of books though.

THE EVERY YEAR CHALLENGE
Duration: January 1 - December 31, 2016

Your goal is to read a book published every year since you were born, or you can choose a year something special happened (e.g, you graduated, you got married, etc.) and read from that year.

This challenge will help us check out the literary styles from different years.

Yeah, you're probably right! I tend to like those door stops, but next year I'll have to think more carefully about the lenght of the books I'll read.

And it's only great to know you're not alone when it comes to having a long list to work on!
Good luck to you too :)

1. I can neither confirm not deny that I am stockpiling/buying books as 2015 comes to an end.

2. It's sad how many unread books I own.

Natalie O (goodreadscomjessycatsmom) | 133 comments This will definitely be interesting since I normally read only new releases. I should begin with the year that my youngest was born but that is only 9 books so I will begin in 1989, when my oldest was born.

For this yearly challenge, I have decided to start from the year I graduated high school which was 2001, reading my way up to 2016. I am going by the 'first published' dates on the Goodreads page for each book.
