Wow, Jennifer...7 months?!!...I am totally impressed. I was just noticing that I am swiftly approaching 2 years, so my 5 years was safe but not unrealistic. I'm thinking Eyes on Target (3 years) may be doable.

Jen (reader44ever) | 2930 comments A question: Can children's picture books count for this challenge? If not, I'll need to adjust my plan.

Let's just say there is unwritten rule for the group that books should have 160 pages to make things more challenging. ☺
That said, it's your challenge and you decide what you want to read. Since nothing is specified here.

In another words I can't say yes or no. Yes because there is nothing in rules about not using them, and no because this is supposed to be reading challenge and those books are not really challenge :)
Up to you. :)

Okay, thanks! I was wondering because to be "true" to the Tower requirements, the 12 books I most recently acquired and the 10 random ones from Random.org both include children's picture books. I can swap them out. I was just wondering if I had to be literal. ;-)

EDIT: But I'll swap them out later, once I've completed the other 10 and 9 books for these Towers. I think I'll be able to complete the Towers without the picture books, but you never know! lol

Thank you!

Welcome to the challenge Karen :)

I have to say I'm impressed that you finish all your books. I just can't. I'll suffer through it only, and really only if that's only book that works for some specific challenge. :)

I always finish books too, but sometimes, I wish I wasn't so stubborn.

❀Tea❀ (ttea) | 9624 comments I just figured I have too much books and not enough time to read them, so I don't want to lose that little I have on something I don't like.
I did start dnf-ing them after I switched to ebooks. Before that it was mostly library books and there weren't so many choices, so I'd suffer through them.

Marla | 1803 comments I totally agree with you Tea, and it makes perfect sense, but I just can't do it.

Well I do have dnf shelf and to be continued one. And so far none of the books from TBC were actually continued. I guess that's just nicer name for dnf :P

This actually makes more sense Tea. After all, why waste time reading something you don't like. But I guess it's like an OCD with me! :p

I remember cursing and suffering my way through Fallen but I was too stubborn to abandon it. I've gotten slightly smarter now and I try to pick books that I will most probably like (three cheers for recommendations and reviews!)...hehe :D
