Such a cute ass novella! It also got me all hyped up for Christmas - so, there's that.

Under the Mistletoe with Me was, again, a very cute novella. I flew through this audio. I loved getting to see everyone from the first book in this series, Come Away with Me. So in this book, you will meet Isaac and Stacy. They are probably going through what so many couples go through after they have a baby: the dry spell. Mostly because there's no alone time due to the baby always coming first or they are just way too tired due to the baby and work. Either way, it seems like a pretty normal thing to happen.

At first, Stacy thought Isaac was cheating on her because all of a sudden she was getting dirty texts from him. I was laughing so hard at them because they just seemed so freaking awkward. With that little drama, it turns out he wasn't cheating on her. He just wanted to spice up their life because of that god awful dry spell. The romance was back and I loved everything about it - I wish I got more!

In the end, she ended up getting preggo again. Of course, it just made it a little bit better that everyone found out on Christmas Day that she had a bun in the oven. So adorable. I'm glad that I dove into this and now I need to find the second book!

It's so good to be back in Kristen Proby's sexy world where the men are just to die for. This time, we have a short, erotic tale of married couple Stacey and Isaac who have kind of lost their sparkle a little after years of fertility treatment and, finally, the blessing of their baby daughter Sophie.

After a few disagreements and misunderstandings, Isaac takes matters into his own hands and whisks his wife off for a weekend away at a log cabin in the snow - how romantic?? They share a sizzling hot weekend together as they reignite the fire in their marriage. Isaac also subjects her to a bit of nookie in the back of the cinema. Rawr!!

Isaac and Stacey are familiar figures if you've read Come Away With Me - Isaac is Jules' brother. Isaac is a very caring husband and tries to think of ever more inventive ways to rejuvenate their sex life and, all I can say is, Stacey is a lucky girl!!

This book is dedicated to Lori Francis and the heroine is a book blogger - Lori, girl, I think you've just been immortalised in print!

Anyway, we have a little taster of all the Seattle clan - just enough to whet our appetites for Jules & Nate's upcoming novel, Fight With Me and we get to catch up with Luke & Nat.

Kristen Proby gives us Isaac and Stacey's story. This couple was introduced in the first installment along with their new baby daughter.

A quick, sexy, holiday read that I enjoyed.

I read the first in the series years ago and I can't remember a thing about it. But I was in the mood for a book where the couple is already married, completely devoted to each other, and just dealing with a little marriage maintenance. This one hit the spot.

“I don’t see the changes, Stace. I see my wife.”

A delightful novella from the With Me in Seattle series, in which we meet again the oldest sibling of the Montgomery clan, Isaac, and his sweet wife Stacy.

After three long years of rigorous fertility treatments, Isaac and Stacy have finally been blessed with a perfect little baby girl but the ordeal of not being able to conceive for so long has taken a toll on the couple. Misunderstandings, doubts, insecurities, and even occasional bouts of jealousy are all beginning to taint the once-bulletproof relationship between the spouses. Although their love for each other remains as strong as always, it becomes evident to both that their marriage is lacking a fresh injection of romance to fuel the struggling flame of intimacy between them.

They decide to work on their marriage by spending an intimate weekend away rekindling their physical connection and rediscovering each other’s bodies again. They soon realise that some bonds are impossible to break and that a little bit of good ol’ hot lovin’ is exactly what the doctor prescribed.

This is a story about the compelling fears of a young woman faced with the dread of losing the picture-perfect life she has built with the love of her life and the willingness of both spouses to do anything in their power to keep their flame alive and burning brightly, rather than flickering into extinction.

In this short and sweet, but deliciously erotic in parts holiday novella, Ms Proby shows us again that love does not have to be one finger-biting rollercoaster after another and that a story does not have to be drenched in angst to leave you smiling at the happy ending. It brings back all our beloved characters from Come Away With Me and even introduces some new ones.

Finally, as a surprise little gift to her readers, the author gives us a panty-melting chapter-long teaser from the next book in the series, Fight With Me, due for release on 4 January 2013. Holy guacamole!

Under The Mistletoe With Me is a short novella about Isaac and Stacy Montgomery two characters we meet in Kristen's wonder debut novel Come Away with Me

I thoroughly enjoyed this short story about this couple who have been together for 10 years. They are in a new phase of their relationship as they have a beautiful daughter who is 4 month old. For reasons I do not want to spoil for the reader this couple is very much aware that children are a blessing. That does not mean being parents is not affecting their relationship.
For those of you who need a memory jog Isaac is one of Jules brother. They are the couple with the baby that everyone wants to hold at the family BQQ.

After reading so many books about young love and new love, it was wonderful to watch two people who love each other working to make their relationship a priority. Someone once said the best thing a man can do for his children is love their mother. Ms. Proby thanks for creating a character who gets that!

Ms Proby was absolutely correct in her blurb when she said Under The Mistletoe With Me "reminds us of what it means to reconnect with the person you love the most, even if they never left in the first place."

Ms. Proby painted a vivid picture of the extended Montgomery clan. The love this family shares and banter between the siblings will warm your heart.

Oh and I should tell to all those Luke and Natalie fans; yes you get a glimpse of them in this book.

I am very much looking forward to Jules story Fight With Me (With Me in Seattle, #2) as well as upcoming books about the rest of these character; Will is an NFL football player; Caleb who is in the military and Matt the cop.

Let me just say first that I lay claim on a Montgomery boy. I can't decide between Caleb or Matt, but I'm leaning towards Matt.

I read this book in one sitting. I love that we got insight into the other characters mentioned in Come Away With Me. Just like Luke and Natalie, Isaac and Stacy have explosive chemistry. I found their relationship to be more realistic and one in which I could easily relate. I loved how having a baby wasn't sugar coated too much in this book. The stresses a baby brings for a couple, especially after what Isaac and Stacy have already been through, weigh heavily on even the strongest of marriages. Perhaps that is why I could relate so well to this book. I have been through similar struggles.

I found myself tapping my Kindle to see how many more pages were left. I was dying to find out what what was making Stacy feel the way she was and also I wanted to know more about her cousin. I hope Kristen Proby will treat us to a thriller about what has brought her to Seattle.

This is a read that made me have warm fuzzies. I found tears pricking the backs of my eyes as I read the last paragraph. It's wrapped up and tied with a nice bow just in time for Christmas.

I thoroughly enjoyed it. I can't wait for the next books in the series.

Look I love Kristin Proby, but this felt like I was dropped in the middle of a story without much preamble. Yes, I read the first book in the series. But it was a while ago and I kind forgot who some of the players were and there are a lot of them in this family, so I got little lost.

I also knew where the story was going the moment the characters started talking about fertility issues.

I did love how Isaac took his wife away to reconnect. Most men get so caught up in the routine, that the thought to make things right with their spouse isn't on the forefront. The time at the cabin was sweet and them playing in the snow.

But, this will not deter me from reading the rest. It was a short Christmas story and I'm willing to see beyond it to move on to the other family members and more of their story.

I love this family! They are loud, and full on and in-your-face, and it’s awesome!

This is a novella about eldest brother Isaac, and his wife Stacey. Still very deeply in love with each other, they are feeling disconnected following their birth of their baby daughter, and this is the story of them coming back together and rekindling their spark – and damn! Like the first book in the series, once that spark is lit, it’s all go and they do it wherever and whenever they can.

There’s lots of interaction with the whole clan, and some fairly important plot developments that will no doubt play out in later books of the series. And a gorgeous epilogue from Isaac’s POV - he’s so swoony!!!

“The best thing I ever did in my life was make you mine, Stace.”

A very sweet little read. I’d recommend it if you were a fan of Come Away With Me

This was a sweet little novella. We get some time in the marriage of the oldest Montgomery brother, Isaac and his wife Stacy. They have been together for ten years but with a new baby, things feel a little disconnected between them lately.

I really enjoyed Isaac and Stacy rekindling their connection and I loved that they were both committed to putting the effort it. There are plenty of tender moments and sexy time for these two. It's a nice glimse at their strong relationship and ends with a gorgeous epilogue.

“I don’t see the changes, Stace. I see my wife.”

“The best thing I ever did in my life was make you mine, Stace,”

It was fun getting to see the whole extended family all together for a couple holiday get togethers and I'm looking forward to more craziness from them all!

This was an enjoyable read. Although the book was short, I really liked the storyline. I loved the fact that Stacey was a book blogger. It made her character more relatable. I also really loved how loving and supportive Isaac was. He is really husband material. I am glad to see a glimpses on what is to come with the upcoming characters. I can't wait to see how the series goes. Overall, a great read.

I was given a copy of this Novella as an ARC, by the lovely Kristen Proby! The release date will be in the coming weeks. Thank you for honoring me with this!

I am not one to usually read Novellas, as I like books that amount to more than 200+ pages. But this Novella was a true gift, in itself. I was taken away immediately. I was found breathless at points in this book, and certainly was smiling an awful lot. I also shed a tear or ten. The writing was beautiful, and the characters are just as beautiful as were Nat and Luke in, "Come Away With Me."

In, "Under The Misteltoe," we are able to get a better insight into the lives of Isaac and Stacy. These two have a wonderful connection, a love like no other. You feel it when they stare into each others eyes. They know the ins and outs of one another. They have created a beautiful being, after years of unsuccessful IVF treatments. But after ten loving years they are pretty much at a crossroads after having a baby. Things need to be spiced up, needs are to be met, and the love needs to continue to grow.

What are they to do? Will they be able to fit all of this into their hectic busy schedules? Can they continue to be the doting parents, and have the sexual appetite they both have lost?

I give this Novella 5+++ Remarkable Stars. I am blown away, I love Stacy and Isaac. I would love if we got a whole book dedicated to this family! You as the reader, will love them too! Kristen Proby is a literary genius. I will continue to follow and read Kristen's books! Again, thank you Kristen for the honor of being able to read this ARC! You ROCK!

Well okay, this novella meant to be a Christmas story, so I think Christmas need a bit cheesy romantic and just a little too good to be true" kind of story.
It's okay.
This is about holiday , family matters, how to cope husband and wife "after pregnancy" problem.

Meet Isaac Montgomery with that piercing "Montgomery eyes", eyes that make his wife Stacy called him "Eyes"

Isaac is soooo in love with his wife and wanted the marriage back to when before Stacy's pregnancy
So he planned one romantic vacation on Christmas, just the two of them..

Stacy once suspected that her husband had something he hide,well..another woman?
Hmmm...don't worry...the Montgomery men are all faithful....
Isaac just wanted to made Stacy happy...and having their relationship back to normal and passionate as before...

and more passionate....

until one day...they have another Christmas gift !!! A surprise for Isaac! yay!!

I was thrilled to have received an ARC for this book as I would not have wanted to wait any longer for this warm, sexy holiday read! Isaac and Stacy have been married for ten years and even the most successful of marriages could use a little revamping. Even though they are both madly in love with baby Sophie, a new baby brings sleep depravation, hectic schedule juggling and dampened sex drives. Thankfully, Isaac decides to take matters into his own hands(the next time I am at the movies, I will try my hardest not to giggle like a school girl)! There are some steamy, jaw dropping scenes that would melt the snow off a roof in this heart warming read. Ms. Proby's secondary characters are just as interesting as this novella's main couple. Readers can catch up with their beloved Luke and Natalie, the fan favs from Come Away With Me, and Jules, Natalie's best friend. There is even a little mystery brewing with Brynna, Stacy's cousin. I look forward to reading about her secrets, hopefully in a subsequent story. An introduction of family members and friends such as Caleb, Matt and Will help establish these characters to play roles in future stories.

As an added bonus, Ms. Proby has included a deliciously hot prologue for Fight With Me, Jules and Nate's book.

I adored this novella!
It was sweet and sexy and exactly what I wanted to listen to right before I go off to dream land.
Isaac truly is in love with his wife. She is head over heels in love with her husband. I just loved it and that ending was perfect.
Also can just say how much I enjoyed Eric Michaels Summerer’s voice I forgot just how much.

Sweet, spicy and very boring 😭

This is about a couple that had fertility problems, and how they deal with life with a new born, finding the balance, and rekindling their relationship. The story is extremely sweet, but I found it extremely boring too. So, I guess is a me problem.
It's quite steamy too, but I just sped up those as I just couldn't get into it 😬😖
Free on ku with audio included.
Great narration.

I know many of us have been in a situation where you don't feel sexy at all especially after having a baby. You feel as if your baby daddy does not look at you the same, so it can at times start to raise issues and you can easily jump to conclusions. I loved everything about this novella. It was dealing with an issue that many of us have been through at some point in time. We do not always feel desirable and well it can lead the mind to travel to places that are not that great. It reminds us that we need to make sure to take time to reconnect with our significant other, and well you cannot do that without some hotness right?! because there is hotness!

"I will spank the living shit out of you."

How the hell do I respond to that?

You can't help but fall in love with Isaac. These men Kristen Proby writes about are just outstanding! I have yet to meet one that I didn't like. Isaac did have me crakin up from time to time as well.

"I just love it when you laugh when I'm inside you."

There was a lot about this book that at a few points hit close to home for me because after having 3 kiddos I have definitely felt like the spark has started to dim.

"As in most relationships, we've grown comfortable and I admit that it's easy to take each other for granted. I wouldn't say that romance is dead, but there are times she goes on vacation."

I am sure MANY can agree to that when you have been in a relationship for a long time. This story just a reminder to take time to reconnect with the one you love.

I love the With Me in Seattle Series and so happy Isaac and Stacy have their own story. Under the Mistletoe with Me is a sweet Christmas novella, which gives us a glimpse into this married couple’s life.

Things have gotten a somewhat routine, with little alone time between family pressure, work and children. This leaves Stacy believing Isaac is straying away. Leave it to the sexy and seductive “Eyes” to add spice into their relationship by making time to reconnect both physically and emotionally with his loving wife. Even though life has changed for them both, Isaac remains truly head over heals in love with Stace.

"Look at me." His hard voice surprises me. "I don't see the changes, Stace. I see my wife...I've been hot for you since the first moment I saw you in that bar in college."

Overall, this was a fun and sweet love story. It’s refreshing seeing into the romance of an already married couple. And these two certainly know how to create sizzling holiday heat. If you are a fan of the series, this novella is a must read.

This was a very good short story. This is a story about a married couple, Isaac and Stacy. They've been married a while and have a 4 month old daughter. They had some trouble conceiving and had to go through 3 years of fertility treatments before Stacy finally got pregnant. Isaac and Stacy are very happy with their new baby but their sex life hasn't been very good for a while. When the story begins it's Thanksgiving and Stacy notices a few things that indicate that Isaac is keeping something from her. She freaks out a bit over his unusual behavior and starts to think that he might be cheating on her. Thankfully this drama doesn't last very long and most of the story centers around Stacy and Isaac reconnecting and regaining what had started getting lost in their marriage. It's a very sweet and touching story that culminates in a very sweet Christmas surprise.

I enjoyed this story very much. Isaac and Stacy are both good characters that I liked and wanted to see work things out. The story was short but since Isaac and Stacy are an established couple it worked well and didn't seem short. Overall, this was a very good story. I'd recommend it. :)

* note - I listened to the audio version of this. Most of the story was from Stacy's PoV and had a female narrator but the epilogue was from Isaac's PoV and there was a male narrator for his part. Both narrators did a pretty good job.

"I love getting you underneath the mistletoe, baby."
"Yeah, you don't need mistletoe for that."
"It doesn't hurt."

A sweet little holiday story bringing back some characters from Come Away With Me. Isaac is Jules' brother from the first book. I really liked Isaac and Stacy and seeing how they cope after 10 years of marriage, fertility issues, and a new baby. They deal with trust issues, feeling unconnected, and stress. They were a really sweet couple who were totally in love, but just got a little sidetracked by life. It was cute, heartwarming, and sexy to see them reconnect and move forward.

I liked getting to see Luke and Natalie, Jules, and the rest of the family as well. A good lead in to Jules upcoming book Fight With Me. And I get the feeling Stacy's cousin Brynna is going to be the next book in the series after that.
