Jayalalita devi dasi (lonelylorelei) | 86 comments 10.2 - Orient Express

East of the Sun by Julia Gregson -- Takes place in India.

10.9 - Serial Killer

Meridon by Philippa Gregory -- Third and final book of the Wideacre series.

15.7 - The Book is Always Better Than the Movie...or Is It?

Ella Enchanted by Gail Carson Levine -- This one was on both lists, but I rather preferred the book.

20.4 - Game On!

Alice I Have Been by Melanie Benjamin -- I rolled a six and read a book which takes place from the 1850's through the 1930's, and simulated it quite nicely, I thought.

20.6 - The Twenty-tens

The Ruby in the Smoke by Philip Pullman -- I was born in 1985, and this book was published in 1985.

20.7 - Christmas Fuzzies…or Not

The Wee Free Men by Terry Pratchett -- I DO NOT look forward to the holiday season, with the ensuing traffic and shoppers getting in my way when I'm trying to go about my business and the same music being piped into every public establishment around, so I read a funny book about angry little blue people in kilts to celebrate the holidays being over.

I read A Very Special Delivery by Linda Goodnight.

One of my pet peeves is when the delivery man leaves a delivery on my front step and it gets all wet/snowed on. I hate that sometimes I get a person who won't take the extra second and put it in my door or place it far into the corner away from the elements.

20.3 Best Review Contest: chucklesthescot's task- Frosty the Snowman

I read Blood Bound by Patricia Briggs.

The book features 2 types of magical transformations- the main character, Mercy, is a "walker" who can transform into a coyote. She is friends with a local werewolf pack who (obviously, lol) change from men & women into wolves.

If I could turn into any animal, I think I would want to be some type of cat- domestic or wild, either way! :-)
