I believe my mother would enjoy this book since it is set in a small town in PA about twenty minutes from where my parents were born and raised and where I grew up. It was very interesting to hear the history of the town and resort and I believe my mother would enjoy that aspect of the book. I think any mother would relate to the women who take on the role of mother figure to the main character and teach her much about life.

First, I apologize, but I need to switch a couple of books around. For task 25.2 Thank You Moderators, I would like to remove Zlata's Diary: A Child's Life in Wartime Sarajevo (from Sandy's shelf) and replace it with Coraline by Neil Gaiman (also from Sandy's shelf).
