Darren (dazburns) | 2148 comments I had been holding steady at 50.0% exactly
but of the 6 titles added in the last 2 months I have already read 2 (Howards End and Eugene Onegin) , I read 1 with the group (Postman Always Rings Twice) and I read one "catch-up" (One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest)

so I am now on 126/250 = 50.4%

George P. | 422 comments I count 139 I've read now- more than a few of them the shorts to be honest. So omitting the April 2019 books, I'm at 55%, roughly the same as my last couple tallys. Looks like I'm about even with Tammy and J Blueflower then.

BAM doesn’t answer to her real name I’ve checked Invisible Man by Ellison off, but I’ve had to add Joy Luck Club and Foundation, so I’m still holding steady at about five more books to go before I’m 100%

Luke (korrick) I'm at 145/252 (the shelf has 253, and I'm not sure what's missing), which is 58%. That's lower than previous iterations, but I decided to not try to guess what bits and bobs of Sherlock Holmes/Poe I've read, so until I read something along the lines of complete works for either of them, I won't be counting those. Reading Foundation will raise my score, which will also go up if Kindred and Night are chosen in the polls.

Its April again. I'm barely treading water, and it's not looking good. I dropped from 37 unread books to 44 unread books. It's funny I dropped down 7 books but the percentage stayed about the same.

December 4, 2012 - 21/47 = 45%, 26 books unread
April 24, 2014 - 45/84 = 54%, 39 books unread
April 6, 2015 - 66/105 = 63%, 39 books unread
April 4, 2016 - 100/142 = 70%, 42 books unread
April 13, 2017 - 134/180 = 74%, 46 books unread
April 9, 2018 - 180/217 = 82.9%, 37 books unread
April 5, 2019 - 212/256 = 82.8%, 44 books unread

I have resigned myself to the fact that I will never read the whole shelf. Even if I wanted to read all of our selections, which I don't, I don't see how I can ever keep pace with all of our new selections and hope to read any other non-group books.

My Unread Group Books

82.8% is amazing! Especially if there are quite a few books you don't want to read. I know what you mean about keeping up. This group reads so many books a month it's hard to keep up, or in my case even catch up to the bookshelf. And adding in books that aren't on the shelf makes me fall behind even more.
