You're right J-Blueflower. With the change in rules to allow Rereads in more categories, we will have a more variable number of brand new books/stories each year. I counted 35 new items added to the shelf this year. Also with the whole question of short story collections vs single stories we can have some changes there. We have had The Death of Ivan Illych on our shelf for a while, which I read, but I have not completed the expanded version that we added this year - The Death of Ivan Illych and Other Stories

I think I have exhausted my capacity. In theory I started Infinite Jest .... It keeps getting "overtaken" by much shorter books.
