It reminds me of my favorite xmas bauble as a child!
I just made it my life's goal to collect these. I already own "Pride and Prejudice" from this collection. Can we take a moment and appreciate the breathtaking covers of "Jules Verne: Seven Novels" and "Complete Tales and Poems of Edgar Allan Poe"?
Sadly, B&N doesn't seem to ship internationally and not all of these books are available on Amazon.

^ I live in Norway, and they ship to me - Doesn't even take that long :)
When I have the money, I need to order more!
Can anyone tell me if the novels are abridged, for instance the Jane Austen 7 novel edition? If they are all unabridged I'd rather buy it than buying the novels separately, but I wasn't sure if they had been condensed down to fit all 7 novels into one book. Please and thanks for any help!
Thanks Sarah! I will probably end up buying them both ways if that's the case, I just didn't want to purchase the beautiful monster and be disappointed with an abridged version. I appreciate the help :)
Wow, I just found 'The Bronte Sisters' for £15 in a high street store, it was in cellophane so I didn't realise it was Barnes and Noble - I got it really cheap as well, most places seem to sell it for £25, I am super happy right now. Beautiful books! :D
I have so far in this collection, Grimm's Fairy Tales, The Iliad an Odyssey, The Divine Comedy, Alice in Wonderland and Other Stories, and Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.

I went in this particular store as I knew they sold the Penguin Clothbounds very cheaply (way cheaper than even Amazon) and found the Bronte book, though luckily I knew the style I was looking for. Will be checking the stores each time I pass them now for more =)

I am in love with these. I collect them! I have 17 so far but I should probably read them all before I buy anymore. :P I love the classics, especially when they look as beautiful as these do. I wish I could just buy them and read them all!!
I love these books they look beautiful and I wish I can have them all.
I am becoming obsessed with collecting these beautiful editions of my favourite authors. There are so many I want to buy but I can't afford all of them right now...
I currently own A hardback book of work by M.R. James, The Necronomicon by H.P. Lovecraft, The Eldritch Tales, the complete works of H.P. Lovecraft and I just purchased the hardback collection of Edgar Allan Poe's work and another edition of H.P. Lovecraft's complete work this has cthulhu on the cover. I wish there were more collections or hardback editions of more horror stories.
I have been slowly collecting these over the past few years. Right now I have 27. They are all beautiful, I love them!
I have been wanting to get these, but I have read lots of reviews of several of them on Amazon which say these are often abridged, poorly translated, and/or have been Americanised. Could someone please confirm if this is true? I only wish to buy them if they are the original text or as close as possible.
Is #4 - The Complete Stories and Poems by Edgar Allan Poe a B&N classic edition? Doesn't look like it to me.
This is the B&N classic edition

You're right. Removed the wrong edition and voted for the correct one
Does anybody get on here any more? Because I'm about ready to change this list. There are a lot of books that are not the Barnes and Noble Leather Bound Classic Editions. Many of these are flexi-bound or children's hard cover.
I still go on this list to look up some things. I don't see flexi bound or pure children's book on here. All of them seem to have come from the B&N Classics tables in the stores. But do what you want to do, I guess.
The two OZ books on this list are nice books. I just wish they'd release their book that has the last five Baum OZ titles in it. They did a low cost set of all 14 of Baum's OZ novels in three volumes a year or two before this set started, and then they've only done two out of the three as their nice leatherbounds. I have all three of the lower budget books. The one that's missing here is called The Magic of OZ. It has the last five books. (I think-- that would mean it has the short stories in Little Wizard Stories of OZ as well as the last four novels.)

I'm looking forward to the Sylvia Plath omnibus scheduled for March though! :)
For the collectors of this series, there’s a complete list of all the books in the B&N classics series including the different editions/cover art/contents/sub-series/translators etc here: https://beautifulbooks.info/illustrat...I think these editions do such a great job of brightening up a bookshelf ❤️
