P.S. List also contain books that may be part of series but can be considered complete in their own.

ok, I just looked and I know librarians can edit the list...I am a librarian, so I can definitely delete some of the series books... You MAY be able to edit the list if you are the creator but not a librarian. To do this, just go to the description at the top and click "edit" and click remove books from this list. I will start this in case you cannot edit.

ok, I deleted books that are for sure part of a series. I am sure there are more. If you cannot delete, then post the book covers of books you want to remove here and i will delete them for you :-)I originally removed the Kristen Ashley books, but re-added them because they can stand alone.
I hate it whenever people make a series out of a good stand alone book. But of course these days it's the publisher's fault most of the time.
"Where She Went" by Gayle Foreman is a sequel so by it's very existence is not a stand-a-lone. And "Easy" by Tammara Webber is listed twice. It must be a good book! :)

Wonderful. I just cleansed the other list, now I have to do this one too. Doesn't anyone else know how to remove books from lists?
How are these books stand-alones? Flat out love, Slammed, On Dublin Street etc all have sequels or even more.Like many people have said, these books are NOT standalone. Perhaps you should consider changing the title to something more accurate
How is it a STAND-ALONE if it's #2 or #3 of a SERIES?I understand that some series, like romances (Sweet Dreams, Harlequin Blaze, etc.) can stand alone since each story does not carry on into a separate book. This is usually series that are written by different authors. But, it does not work for normal series.
Someone needs to clean this list.
Would look into this list just cuz it has *The fault in our stars* but skeptically as it has fifty shades series too. LOL
These are all great books, but half of them aren't stand-alone novels and really can't be read on their own (unless you want to be very confused...).
I came to this list looking for actual standalone titles. I don't understand why books that are part of a series are permitted here. Doesn't matter if they are thought by some people to be good books on their own. Since it's a list meant for standalone books, then by rights, standalone books should be the ONLY ones on this list. After all, the list is allegedly MEANT for standalones.
hmmmm whoever created this list still has not deleted the series books from the list. sigh.. what gets me are the people who keep voting for them to stay on the list. sigh.

Half of these books are YA and The HOST is #9. Freaking Stephenie Meyer!?I can't trusts listopia any longer..It's just full of garbage.

Bella wrote: "Umm... why is To Kill A Mockingbird on this list? I thought this was for millennial books..."It's been deleted.
How can these books that haven't even been published yet be on a list for 2000-2015?p13 #1199 - Lord of Shadows (The Dark Artifices, #2) by Cassandra Clare
p13 #1216 - The Queen of Air and Darkness (The Dark Artifices, #3)

I've removed them.
