Yes, currently that is the only book to date that I've written in first person. At the time, I was advised that most editors at publishing houses preferred third person. However, I've recently noticed a trend where more authors are writing in first person. I like the immediacy and intimacy of it, so for the proposal I've put in for 2020 titles, I'm pitching another new series and a switch to writing in first person. Fingers crossed that my publisher likes the ideas and buys the books! (less)

For whatever reason, I often untie a story knot if I'm on a 3-4 mile walk through the wooded park near my house. Second, research. If I get stuck, I'll research more about my character's profession or other particular trait, and often I'll learn something that will take me in a new direction. (less)

Thanksgiving has long been my favorite holiday because there is nothing better than sitting down to a fabulous meal with my favorite people. This year, our family enjoyed a quiet holiday with only my mother and brother at our table (typically we are all in Pennsylvania with the extended family). Despite missing the chaotic party atmosphere I grew up with, I enjoyed the relaxed holiday. I also n...

I don't know that I ever saw or replied to this notice. Now it is months later! Sorry. Sometimes I stay away from GR for chunks of time. I love it as a reader, but it can be a little harsh when you see a bad review! LOL Anyway, I appreciate your note and hope you enjoyed ITC as well as WTW. I'm busy writing more books for all my series, so hopefully I can continue to keep you entertained. Thanks for writing!
Jamie
