Wow, all of those books seem really great, I shall add some to my to-read list.

I love most of these books .

If you love memoir, the book, The End of Boys was a great one sitting read. It came to me highly suggested. There are some other great books on this list too. Little Bee was a really great read as well.

So many good books to choose from, this is a hard decision :)

I'm going to have to come back to this list just to update my To-Reads! There are a ton on here that sound great.

There are many books on this list that I have already read that I was not sure to list on the summer reads, since I wouldn't be rereading these books for a little while. I think I'm going to have to edit my choices. I'm so far behind in my reading challenge and think that it is foolish to raise the ante on my goal without getting into sync where I have to be to meet my goals. Either way I am so glad that so many people picked books that may not have been something that they would have looked at before the creation of this list. Did anyone vote for a book that they had already read to encourage others to enjoy the book that they had read?

The Dark Age Survivors of the Pulse

This is a great book, and a very compelling storyline! You should also check out the prequel, The Great Collapse: Survivors of the Pulse!

I really enjoy most of the titles in the list but I chose the most easiest and logically books that I consider as beach reads or summer reads. Well, we need sun, sands and friends!

Ahh that explains it. I thought it meant the books are so good you can't put them down and they only take a day or so to read.

The title says "ONE DAY Best Summer Reads" and I rarely finish a book in just one day. But One for the Money is an easy summer's day read, which I could have finished in one day if I wanted to :-) I didn't read it during the summer though, but mid-winter, curled up in a corner of the sofa :-)
