15.8 - FESTIVUS - Smoke Screen (4*). My pet peeve is when smokers stand right outside the entrance to a building and I have to walk through their cloud of smoke.
20.5 - LARGER THAN LIFE - Crocodile on the Sandbank (4*)
25.3 - REFLECTIONS - We were not able to take a vacation this year and it was pretty uneventful. So I chose my book club memories. When we get together we have a great time. So I read Sex on the Beach Book Club (3.5*) For my new author I read The Heretic Queen (4*) (I still have not posted the first book that I read by her as I am in the middle of completing the second book for that task. But I did read the first book in December).
30.2 - ALPHABETICALLY SPEAKING - Quicksand by Iris Johansen (3*) and Comfort Food by Kate Jacobs (4*).
50.1 - LAND AMONG THE STARS - A Curse Dark as Gold (3*) I rolled a 6 for part B and had to read historical fiction so I read The Pearl Harbor Murders published in 2001 about the days just before and the day of the bombing. I rolled a 5 for part C and had to read a western so I read To Tame a Land which took place in the American West.

A. The Women
My husband and I went to Chicago together (our first trip without the kids) and on our last day we visited the Frank Lloyd Wright house in Oak Park. The whole trip was fabulous, but that last day was particularly spectacular.
B. I read Nicholson Baker for the first time year (The Anthologist), and loved it. So, for this challenge, I read his first book The Mezzanine.
