The book is fascinating and tells 2 stories: one of Henrietta's cells, focussing on the research advances made because of them and the ethical issues in using people's cells/tissues without consent, and another of the family's struggle to come to terms with the cells and their fight for recognition for their mother, who's name isn't remembered by many as the "donor" of the cells.
Both stories are fascinating and touching.

Looking for Alaska which has been challenged because of sexually explicit content, drinking, drugs, explicit language.
15.1 - New Horizons
I went with the shelf Memoir which is out of my comfort zone and chose Cleaving: A Story of Marriage, Meat, and Obsession. Hated it because the author cannot write and is unethical in almost every way. Also failed to see why the book was even written and why the public should care about the author's failed(?) marriage and adventures in BDSM. Memoirs are probably going to stay out of my comfort zone. Or maybe I should find better ones to read.
