Hi Fran,
It was so good I read it in one sitting! Before I retired, I was a high school librarian/language teacher, and we had so many kids with problems like that in our school. So often, they kept everything hidden and just soldiered on without asking for help. So sad. But by having books like this on our shelves, those students can realize that they are not alone. Currently I am in a teachers' reading group, and I am encouraging them all to read this book so they can be more sensitive to what some of our students are going through.
