264322 A question (once again *grins*)

I'm just reading Once Upon a Cowboy by Lacy Williams book 2 in You Don't Have to Be a Star / Once Upon a Cowboy and expect to finsh it later today. Since I'm reading it in a book set it's only 98 pages - though if I read the single book edition (Kindle or paperback) it would be 170 pages. I was wondering if I still can use it despite the missing two pages in my edition? It wouldn't be the first time the book set's total page # is/was way too low and so all the calculated page # for the single books incorrect. (I can really understand if you say no - rules are rules for a reason)
