Amy Meyerson is the bestselling author of "The Bookshop of Yesterdays," which will be translated into 11 languages. She has been published in numerous literary magazines and teaches in the writing department at the University of Southern California, where she completed her graduate work in creative writing. Originally from Philadelphia, she currently lives in Los Angeles. Her new novel, The Imperfects, will be published in May 2020.

There are a lot of them:) I should make a shelf on goodreads of all the novels mentioned in The Bookshop of Yesterdays.

Prospero Books is a composite of several bookstores that I love–two of particular importance are on the east side of LA. Prospero Books visually resembles Stories Books and Cafe in Echo Park. I also spend a lot of time at Skylight Books and got to ask the manager there lots of random questions about running a bookshop, which was super helpful. What's your favorite bookshop?(less)
