Hannah (goodquietkitty) 15.10 Keep It Simple

One Hundred Years of Solitude by Gabriel García Márquez

20.4 Game On!

I completed task #2 which required a sci-fi/fantasy novel.

Let the Right One In by John Ajvide Lindqvist

The main character befriends a vampire despite knowing her nature. I'm way too much of a coward for that -- if a friend confessed to being a vampire, I would run and hide. :)

Let the Right One In is over 500 pages long

20.7 Christmas Fuzzies...Or Not

Since I enjoy the holiday season, I chose a book with a predominantly blue cover.

I think the movie for Stardust is as good as the book. The plots differ somewhat, but I enjoyed both.

15.10 Keep it Simple

The Cypress House by Michael Koryta

Michael Koryta is a favorite, but this book fell short- a paranormal thriller that didn't have enough of either.

25.1 Chestnuts Roasting- favorite genre- travel

The Stone Boudoir: Travels Through the Hidden Villages of Sicily by Theresa Maggio

Mexico: Some Travels and Some Travelers There by Alice Adams

30.6 Looking for a Few Good Authors: I used author Steve Hamilton

A. rolled a 6- Lit Map: Lisa Gardner

Alone (Detective D.D. Warren, #1) by Lisa Gardner

B. rolled a 2: same year- 1998 first book A Cold Day In Paradise

Detective Inspector Huss by Helene Tursten

I really liked both of these books- glad I found them for this task. And the Lit Map came through again!
