Anita Reads | 1677 comments I'm Really considering doing this challenge. I've only read the first book in Game of Thrones, and I haven't watched the series yet (my brother was adamant that I read the book first)

I'll get back to you on the level, and which options I'm gonna take.

Two More Houses: - Added to Post #3. Added April 22, 2014.

Gesa has come up with items for two more Houses in the Game of Thrones. Thanks, Gesa!

House Karstark:
Sigil: A white sunburst on black.
     Motto: “The Sun of Winter”
Option 1: Read a book with a predominantly black and white cover.
Option 2: Read a book where a character is held captive.
Option 3: Read a books where a character changes his/her name or has a nickname.

House Bolton:
Sigil: A red flayed man, hanging upside-down on a white X-shaped cross,
     on a black background.
     Motto: “Our Blades Are Sharp”
Option 1: Read a book with some pink on the cover or that is predominantly red.
Option 2: Read a book where someone fights with a blade / knife / sword / similar item.
Option 3: Read a book where someone has a secret or where a secret is revealed.

Please Note: We have returned the artwork of House Bolton back to the way it was originally depicted on deviantart.net so that maintains the intigerity of the artist’s work and it matches the other house sigils in this challenge; however, please be advised that it does NOT match the description, per the series. It should look something like this:
