30.8 - Delicious Dee/Christine US's Task - A Reading Tribute to Those We Love

Book 1: For this task, I read “The Spindlers,” by Lauren Oliver. This book reminds me of the person who had the biggest impact on my life, my grandmother. She was an English teacher who dearly loved fairy tales, and I think she would have enjoyed this story. My grandmother was also quite a feisty lady, quite a bit like the main character in this book.

Book 2: For my second book, I read “The Scorpio Races” by Maggie Stiefvater, since my GR friend Miranda gave it 4 stars. The link to her “read” shelf is here: http://www.goodreads.com/review/list/...
