by Kirby Larson. Hattie is a character I wouldn’t mind being. She has a lot of spunk and determination, and isn’t afraid to follow her dreams. She’s living a full and exciting life. 30.8 - Delicious Dee/Christine US's Task - A Reading Tribute to Those We Love
Book 1 - While my parents, grandparents and siblings all certainly had an impact on who I grew up to be, I think that the biggest impact on who I am now came from becoming a mother and raising children. My two older children are both teachers, so I read An Apple for the Creature - all stories either set in school or involving teacher-student relationships. I sincerely hope that neither of my daughters find themselves in any of these teaching situations!
For Book 2, I read Secret Asset. Katy gave it 5 stars.
