***USA Today Bestselling Author***As the author of the best-selling Shelby Nichols Adventure Series, Colleen is often asked if Shelby Nichols is her alter-ego. “Definitely,” she says. “Shelby is the epitome of everything I wish I dared to be.” Known for her laugh since she was a kid, Colleen has always tried to find the humor in every situation and continues to enjoy writing about Shelby’s adventures. “I love getting Shelby into trouble…I just don’t always know how to get her out of it!” Besides writing, she loves a good book, biking, hiking, and playing board and card games with family and friends. She loves to connect with readers and admits that fans of the series keep her writing.

I thought it would be a nice change to have Uncle Joey and Ramos in trouble instead of Shelby. Of course that was where I started...but what actually happened once I got writing the story wasn't that cut and dry. I am a discovery writer, so I never know exactly where the story will take me, but that's what I love about writing. It's also what makes it hard, because it seems easy to get Shelby into trouble, but getting her out of it can be a challenge!(less)

Yes, there is a Kindle edition. If you go to my profile and click on the "Wind and Fire" image, you'll see the Kindle edition under Other Editions and the url link to it on Amazon.

Cheryl Landmark Thanks for switching editions, Colleen. I hope you enjoy the book.

Cheryl Landmark Hi, Colleen. I noticed that you have my book "Wind and Fire" on your to-read list. First of all, thank you very much for adding it!

I just wanted to let you know that the edition you have marked is no longer in print. If you go to my author profile, you'll see another version there with two hands holding fire on the cover. This is the most current edition. If you could change your edition to this one instead of the other one, that would be great. Thanks.

Colleen Helme I'm glad you liked the artwork. I will send you a PDF copy to your email address listed on your blogspot. I hope you will enjoy it. There is also some artwork for Flame of Destiny on my website - hope you'll take a look!
Happy Reading! :)

Cheryl Landmark The Lord of Wind and Fire series you just marked to read sounds very intriguing, too. Groan!! My TBR pile just keeps getting bigger and bigger, so, as much as I would love to read these books, I'd better hold off for awhile. :) But, they're definitely going to end up there later.

Colleen Helme Wow - Thanks Cheryl. I hope you like it. I will definitely check out yours too. I love to find new authors and goodreads is a great forum for that.
Happy Reading!

Cheryl Landmark Thanks for accepting my friend request, Colleen. Just wanted you to know that I ordered your book "Songbird" and added it to my TBR pile. It sounds like it's right up my alley for young adult fantasy.
