I honestly would never have found Twilight if it hadn't been for the Neverending Quiz on goodreads. I had to read it to answer the questions. I had forgotten The Fur Person, read it long ago and it was so good.

I am much more isolated than the average person due to having Multiple Chemical Sensitivity also called Environmental Illness. Twilight is not in the second hand book stores yet. I would probably have found it in a few more years except for the Quiz which is so fun.

Thanks Jessica! I actually was going to swap with a friend here thru our library which is very small but then I was off line for months. Right now I actually have a big stack of books to read. Hubby picks some up at work for me thru the paperback swap there. Sometimes I have to put them in the window to outgas for a few weeks especially if someone wearing perfume or someone who smoked read them. I have a library book in the window right now too! Maybe next week I can read it.
Thanks again, Alice who is a Canary "in the coal mine"

Yes, our libraries use these very toxic sprays which most people like but they give me asthma and if I don't get up and leave promptly I can get migraine too.

It is intended to be a bit of a stocktake (for me anyway). Look at your bookshelf and take stock of all the books you might not have discovered had it not been for the existence of this fabulous community, its reading groups, members' reviews, discussions and the book quiz (to name but a few).
Alice, thank you for voting and providing an insight into how challenging day - to - day activities can be with your condition. (I had no idea before reading your comments.) I know electronic books aren't everybody's cup of tea (certainly not mine and the kindle as yet is a luxury I cannot justify), but have you tried any of the free e-book services - Project Gutenberg / Daily Lit etc...
Hi Christine and thanks for starting this listopia. I have very blurry vision and it gets worse if I look at the computer screen for too long. I much prefer regular books and I underline, etc as I actually study many of them. I did manage to read Edward Cullen's viewpoint online due to my obsession with Twilight. It was hard and took many nights of going back and forth. My copies of Twilight are marked up except for Breaking Dawn due to working on the quiz all the time.
Kindle will never go over with me. My hubby and I love second hand book stores and know where they all are!

Thank you for the Wolf Chronicles goodreads! :D

Good catch. Since that is a clear case of not telling the truth, the book doesn't fit the list parameters. I deleted that book, plus about 10 others where the author consisted of the only vote for his or her book. I only went through 2 pages though.
