Friends have always encouraged to take up hobbies, but I'm incredibly resistant to the idea. I have a PlayStation I barely play and lots of cooking equipment I've yet to christen. Nothing zones me out quite like going for a long walk with my iPod. A long drive by myself can have the same effect.(less)

And in November, I'll publish THE FLAME, a novella and my first erotic romance. I'm incredibly excited about both. I'll have more information about THE VINES very soon. But for now all I'll say is this, "Don't feed the plants!"(less)

Intimate Witnesses

You can only write what you know?Nonsense. Let me translate this statement. There is a certain type of writer (and reviewer) who believes the only legitimate form of fiction is the kind so directly fueled by a writer’s personal experience it’s almost impossible to distinguish it from memoir.

Why these individuals don’t just commit themselves to writing and reading non-fiction is

The Witch of Painted Sorrows by M.J. Rose
“No, the sadness will soften, its edges will become less rough. In time missing him will be the way you love him.”
Another very personal moment in the book — I sadly learned this with my mother’s passing. I was devastated when we lost her and this is very much what my process was.
